Nomura Tetsuya designed Yuna with hibiscus flowers as her name depicts. Her name also means “night” so her weapons are empowered by the moon. Yuna also has heterochromia, which explains her different colored eyes; her blue eye comes from her half-Spiran bloodline and her green eye comes from her half-Al Bhed bloodline.
Beautiful cosplay! Good location too. I wonder if she had a hard time keeping her hair fixed? Thanks for sharing this!

Technically, this is the 5th Rikku I’m posting on this blog. But I didn’t label the post that way because she is the first Rikku I found who cosplayed the X version rather than the more popular X-2 versions.
The black mage of the Final Fantasy X game, Lulu (or “Ruru” in the direct Japanese translation) carries a dark past within her, being once the Guardian of the fallen Ginnem. And now her duty falls with Yuna the Summoner and her team.
Now here is a scene recreation I am familiar with… I’ve never played Final Fantasy before, but I saw this scene in a game convention. The only difference between the game scene and this one is that in the game, Tidus and Yuna were in the water at night… Here, the picture was taken during the day… Probably because the water looks really, really cold right now, what more during the night?
