The impulsive, overconfident, comic relief of the series, Zell Dincht is a martial artist and a student in Balamb Garden. He grew up in the same orphanage as Seifer’s, which is when he had begun to bully him, earning him the nickname "chicken-wuss". He wanted to become a soldier in memory of his late grandfather.

Rather impressive, wouldn’t you agree? I like the lighting of this shot and the details of the coplayer’s tattoo. Great work!

Hm… What do you guys think? Does Shirokumapan rival Shibata Ina’s version of Rinoa?

I honestly can’t decide the two of them… I suppose there’s also the problem that in the original game, it’s a bit difficult to know Rinoa’s “true” personality when we never heard her talk! But I think Shirokumapan and Shibata Ina both do a brilliant job portraying her!

What can I say about this picture? Not much of the costume is shown but Shibata Ina makes such a good Rinoa she doesn’t even need a costume!

Outspoken and stubborn, Rinoa Heartilly is the main female character in Final Fantasy VIII. She is a popular icon for the Final Fantasy universe being the “cute girl-next-door” type instead of the usual “gorgeous” females of Final Fantasy. Because of this, and the simplicity of her costume, she is often cosplayed in Anime Conventions all over the world.

Honestly? I love Shibata Ina’s version… Being Rinoa suits Shiba so well! I hope she’ll do a whole lot more cosplays in the future.
