digimon cosplay - angewomonGatomon’s natural Ultimate Form, Angewomon is known as the female counterpart of Angemon although she is of higher ranks due to her eight wings. She is and angel who resembles a Valkyrie thanks to her winged helmet.

This image was actually cropped from the original because I wanted to emphasize on the cosplayer. A fuller version of this picture can be found in Ikataplof’s Flickr account.

Awesome cosplay! Though I can’t help but wonder what the cosplayer really looks like?

EDIT: Mia left me a message telling me who this cosplayer is. Her name is Uchiha Yurai, and she cosplays a lot! You can view more of her photos in her Deviant Art Account. Thanks, Mia!

gyakuten saiban 2 cosplay / phoenix wright: ace attorney 2 justice for all cosplay - karuma mei / franziska von karma Last year, on June 16th, there was a “Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Convention” in SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall. An event I missed thanks to work, but I had no idea I missed such a great looking cosplay..!

Addy is cosplaying Karuma Mei, more commonly known as Franziska Von Karma from the game “Gyakuten Saiban 2″ (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 2 - Justice For All). Mei is the undefeated Prosecutor from Germany who came to Japan in order to defeat Naruhodo Ryuichi and avenge her adoptive brother, Mitsurugi Reiji. Of interesting note, is that in the Japanese version, Mei went to America to study law, not Germany.

Did I mention she became a prosecutor when she was only 13?

Lovely cosplay; and this was originally found in Raincontreras’s Flickr account. I wonder what Mei is saying here though? Probably something like “Foolish fools who foolishly dreams a foolish fool’s dream”?

d.n.angel cosplay - dark mousyJesuke really know how to do her cosplays…

This character is Dark Mousy from D.N.Angel. He is the alter ego of Niwa Daisuke, a shy and reserved 14-year-old typical school boy.

Dark is a phantom thief who steals the harmful Hikari Family art pieces. Although he always gives warnings as to when and where a particular robbery will occur, he has never been caught.

There are several different pictures of Jesuke as Dark Mousy in her Deviant Art account. Please have a visit there as well. I had to choose this picture because of the wing details… It’s quite impressive, don’t you think?

bleach cosplay - ishida uryuuRemember what I said about Filipinoes cosplaying really well?

Well, this is a good opportunity to introduce Jin, a cosplayer that rivals even Philippine Idol Alodia.

Jin is apparently from the Philippines, but her cosplaying is on the same class as the really good Japanese ones most people practically worship. This is a really nice cosplay of Ishida Uryuu from Bleach. I’m not sure if it’s the lighting or the photography, but heck… the gal looks 3D!

Nice job, Jin. Giving a shout out to El Angeles for great photography and special thanks to Moon Crest for giving me the links! Check our Jin’s DeviantArt account for more of her awesome cosplays! (And I’ll be sure to add more of her photos on this blog too!)

EDIT: Oops! Public apology!!! Jin is a girl! Please note… I got confused by the name… I am so sorry! >_<!!!

death note cosplay - amane misa

This is the second Amane Kisa Cosplay featured in this blog… But I have a hard time choosing from one or the other.

Philippine’s Cosplay Idol, Alodia “Edjie” Gosiengfiao, is so popular in the Philippines that she is usually asked to judge cosplay competitions instead of joining them. (Apparently, if she joins a said competition, she wins hands down. So she becomes a judge to “give chance to others”.)

This is originally found on Alodia’s Deviant Art. You may view the larger image here. Photography is done by Tricia Gosingtian.

Indeed… “What a wonderful way to kill.”
