The shy, intelligent boy who passed the Provincial exams at the age of 12, Eigetsu possesses dissociative identity disorder. He becomes a completely different person when he drinks alcohol, calling himself “Yogetsu”. Yogetsu is very good in combat, and slightly arrogant, but he is also very intelligent like Eigetsu.
Eigetsu passes the Imperial Exams at the age of 13 and became the governor of Sa Province along side Ko Shurei, making him the youngest governor appointed to office.
He’s one of my favorite characters in the series, next to Seiran and Ryuki. But I still think Seiran should have been Emperor… or ended up with Shurei at least. I’ve yet to find the second season for Saiunkoku Monogatari, so who knows what happened in the end?
