final fantasy x cosplay - yunaOh boy, how many days have gone by without me updating this site? Apologies on that. A recent thunder storm fried all the connections… Let’s see how many entries I can come up with today to make up for lost time…

Now, the thing about the Final Fantasy series, is that they have beautiful guys and girls. And everyone would want to be powerful individuals with perfect skin and hair to match, right?

Note this Yuna cosplayer. She’s got smooth skin anda lovely hair color. The costume is perfect, though I’m wondering about the choice of backdrop. It looks like a warehouse that’s going under construction, or probably really old…

Now, I’ve never played Final Fantasy X before, so I have no idea if there was a scene similar to this in-game. So please do correct me if I’m wrong… I just always had the impression Final Fantasy X has beautiful, natural backdrops all the time.

By the way, why do they call it “Final” Fantasy when the game always comes out with sequels..? Hm…

  1. The costume is nice! Haha:D But yeah, they should have chose another background. Haha:) Or maybe there’s a reason why it is that way? I’m not familiar with Final Fantasy too! Hahaha:D

  2. Hehe~ I was hoping someone who played Final Fantasy X could tell me why they had this choice of backdrop, but oh well… ;)

  3. “By the way, why do they call it “Final” Fantasy when the game always comes out with sequels..? Hm…”

That does have an explanation. When the first Final Fantasy came out, it was a desperate try from the creator of the series to create a successful game, for the company was going downhill and basically, he decided to create a last game. That’s why it’s called Final Fantasy. Ironically, it was hugely successful, spawning into 12 oficial sequels and lots of spinoffs.

    I’m glad it did! ^_^

  4. Oh, that’s so cool! :D Thanks so much for taking the time to explain it to me, Meru! I shall mention this bit of info in the next FF cosplay I feature! I’ll give you the proper credit of course… :D

  5. about the background as a player myself it’s natural for you to find one of this in the game since Yuna’s taking on a pilgrimage to summon aeons (magical creatures) and the temples she’s usually visitng are old… not to mention a thousand years old… XD

-> It is true that the company (squaresoft) was going downhill and the reason was because of the movie final fantasy VII:Advent Children. They’ve spent a huge sum of amount and eventually got a small amount back. The owner wanted to save the company so he merged with another company making it ’square-enix’. Eventually, after they merged the company the rate of the movie suddenly changed making it at the top of the list….

-> that’s what i read and that’s what my friend told me but correct me if i’m wrong. :)

  7. Oh is that why they merged with Enix? :o

  8. The scene in this cosplayer is recreating happens to take place in one of those old, old temples you often see Yuna at…So the choice of backdrop actually fits perfectly ^^

Wow…the such beautiful hair, skin, costume…it captivates me. Exactly the same as the one shown in the game o_o
