I recently had the chance to go on short trips to local places. The most recent one was last weekend to Anawangin, Zambales. My friends and I took a public bus and arrived in San Antonio at around 3am. We waited and negotiated with the local boatmen in Pundaquit and boarded the small motor boats which seats 3-4 comfortably, on a smooth; although wet, ride to Anawangin. Anawangin is a cove, with a beach of smooth sand, which glisten like white sand under the sun. The best thing about this place are the pine trees! Yes, you heard me right! The water is clean and clear. There are some trails which you can hike up to have a better view of the rest of the island and the blue sea. There’s also a small lake with clear, warm water you can wade in.
I’ll be posting some of the pics as the days pass. Hope you enjoy them!
