Our last stop for the Napa valley trip was at Chandon. We had to drive up and down the highway to look for this place 3 times! Domain Chandon is suppose to be very good at making white wine and champagne.

The rock sculpture (stone mushrooms) you see above the work of Richard Botto; a local artist. Most of the winemakers sponsor and support local artists by featuring them their work in the vineyard or shops.

At the end of the day, we slowly drove home, with soil on our feet and a lovely bottle of Domain Chandon’s Vintage Brute champagne. (Next time I want to try the Blanc de Blancs.) The night before I left the US to come back home, I popped the bottle to celebrate spending time with my friend, family and for good holidays!
