*A week after the events at Donut Pond, the disappearance of My Melody has been worrying everybody in her old neighborhood in Meriland, a couple of miles away from Sanrio Town. Flat, erstwhile albeit bashful mouse and intrepid friend of the missing rabbit, decides that the only way to find Melody was by taking action.

*The light condenses into a single spot on the water, collects itself for a moment, and then shoots up into the sky, white as ivory, as everybody along the banks of Donut Pond stare in awe.

A speck can be seen floating upwards from within the ray of light; it is My Melody, who seems to be at peace. Her eyes are closed, and there is a smile on her face.

Behind her, black energy is emanating, like a pair of black wings. Throughout the minds of everybody watching, a silent scream permeates while the black energy slowly vanishes.

Suddenly, the light seems to explode, filling the entire vicinity of Donut Pond with white, blinding everybody for a moment.*

mimmy’s gone, too. when she bit me, something went *pop* and she went flying. . . i don’t think she grew back to her normal size. i wonder what happened to her.

but i can’t be bothered to think about that right now . . . i don’t know how, or why, but it looks like i’m floating in the middle of a big sea of light. is this heaven? did pink bear’s magic seed work?

*The energy begins to collect in the middle of Donut Pond, gathering more and more power every second, while the rabbit could only watch from the middle of it all. Everything she knew, all the people she loved, was about to be wiped out - and she was powerless to stop it. This realization didn’t do anything to keep the tears from pouring out of her eyes.

something’s happening in town. and it’s frightening meee :O things that don’t attack people have attacked people, magic spells happen without anybody casting them, and honestly, somebody’s been getting more attention than usual (if that isn’t strange enough for you, then i don’t know what is X|). and for some reason, everybody seems to think that this is all MY fault.

it wasn’t easy, true. :O  my fingers HURT right now!  i think i can see some scars, too :`( i’ll have blisters for a week after this!

but it was worth it. ^_^ it was the first time i saw the notes vanishing without the use of the tact!! i felt goosebumps the entire time! (okay, maybe that was partly because of the violin music, but STILL)

i really have to thank everybody who helped me out though. ^_destroydestroydestroydestroy

the good thing about the rain is that i was able to stay home and practice on my violin. i think i’ve gotten pretty good now; i was able to play the devil’s trill up to around halfway. of course that didn’t do anything, since, helloooooo, you needed to play the whole song to make the notes vanish. X| i’m sure kuromi-chan’d have an easier time with it, but i guess i see why she’d want to. playing the violin’s fun! ^_^

okay, first things first: what have i been doing?

1. well, i’ve been out, mostly. i know, i know, the rainy season’s here and all, but when friends and family go shopping, you just can’t help but come along. because of this, i was forced to look for an umbrella that i can use, and i found this!

it’s an umbrella with me and kuromi-chan! nyaaaan~! just don’t mind the web address in the middle, gah. it was the only decent picture i could find.

2. i haven’t forgotten about my violin practice, of course! i think i have the bowing technique down, and i’m having less problems with staccato notes. my hand still cramps up every now and then, but that’s nothing a little bit of practice can’t fix! ^_^

speaking of bowing, i saw this person playing something called the musical saw!

that’s just so awesome!

3. mimmy must be getting bored. :/ i mean, just read her new posts! we should get out more, girl! i heard that kyorosuke was inviting us out for a swim - i don’t know how great an idea that’s going to be in this weather, but who knows.
