Onegai My Melody Sukkiri is a popular series that has been aired on Japanese TV for quite some time now. Ever since My Melody’s 30th anniversary in Sanrio, Onegai My Melody Sukkiri first made appearance on TV in spring, 2005. It was an immediate success. By 2006, it was included in the top hundred “Japan’s Favorite TV Anime”, ranking 89 (higher than Yu-Gi-Oh!(96)).

Onegai My Melody Sukkiri is a story revolving around My Melody and her nemesis, Kuromi. In the beginning, Kuromi has obtained a mysterious dark magical item that allowed her to escape the detention room. Following that feat, Kuromi then enters the human world, in search of dark magical notes. Apparently, when combined with her magical item, it will become a dark artifact, capable of bestowing her anything the keeper wishes for.

The king accuses My Melody of assisting Kuromi escape, and entrusts her to follow Kuromi into the human world to arrest her. At the same time, My Melody needs to protect the human world from the dark artifact as well.

It appears that Onegai My Melody Sukkiri is preparing for their third episode. Make sure to look it up on your TV guide!

Recently a very cute, and short, animation featuring My Melody was posted on Dream Studio. I was excited to see that after one day, the number of views was over 100!
