didn’t get much done on a sleepy sunday. blah!

nobody wanted to head out so we decided to order Macs and have it delivered for lunch, haha! mcspicys’ were ok, but one of the fillet-o-fish didn’t have any sauce/toppings in it.  we tried the wasabi fillet-0-fish and decided it wasn’t worth the extra $0.50 (ala carte). Could have just squeezed in wasabi and mix with mayo, which was what we did with the sauce-less o-fish, haha!

Went online to chat with a few faction mates and check out what’s happening on the first colony war of the newly merged servers. Went to a couple of the colonies to catch the action and it was fast and furious and a little laggy. XP Interesting final results when the CW ended. Will keep track to see how the plot and drama unfolds in the CWs to come.

I know Starrfire7 wanted to meet up with LTS ingame…

I finally managed to get in around Sunday noon, which was like 3days after the official launch of FB.

Many thanks to RainyG who helped uploaded the updated files so that a whole bunch of us could get to play. I understand whitensilver and rhethoricskies had helped her, so many thanks to them too.
Also read that Starrfire7 managed to get help from noliai, ripplecloud, TideSong and many others.
It’s nice and comforting to have many kind souls who helped us all. (=^.^=)

So after getting through the technical difficulties, it was time to login to HKO!
Managed to meet up with some of the bloggers that i stalk (haha! just kidding!) at Sanrio Harbour.

After a short chat with them, it was time to get used to the user interface and mechanics of the game. Took me quite a while coz i can be such a klutz!
Meeting up with the NPCs and starting off on the quests.

Thanks to little_miss_chococat who emailed me about about this show called Ruby Gloom, in which there is a character called…
Misery.

Caught some clips of the show and although Misery appears to be all Doom and Gloom (ironically the family name of the titular character and her cat, haha), she is quite the funny character, inadvertently from the unfortunate incidents that happen to her.

So thank you once again little_miss_chococat for letting me know about this show and Misery. (=^.^=)

i had a sneaking suspicion these titles were chosen so some of the participants of the night could oooh and ahhhh over Daniel Craig, James McAvoy and Robert Pattison

who is the lead actor in the upcoming Twilght movie based on the novel of the same title.
The heads of the committee had been twittering about him and the books since the latest novel from the series was released a month or so ago, which left me lost in translation as i haven’t read the books and even knew anything about them before their non-stop buzz, haha!

Good night of food, drink and movies.
Now i need to live on bread and soup for the rest of the week to compensate for the excess carbs and calories from one single evening…BURP!

apparently a family in the neighbourhood’s gotten a young snow white labrador retriever. seen them out taking walks in the early evenings the past week or so. looks so friendly and full of energy and adorable. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i do have a soft spot for labrador retrievers, and beagles, and maltese, and….

Going through blogs and saw this entry with these clay figurines inspired from characters from the mmo i am currently playing.



Really well made and cute!
This is how she looks ingame , although our version has yet to release her as a playable character.

This is what her pet bear looks like ingame, haha!

The other characters in the above photos are Catherine and Viki, who are among the characters i like to use.

Catherine has a unique Marionette Stance where she summons multiple dolls to fight off the surronding mobs.

Viki is also a summoner who can call for his pet St Bernard or even huge giant golems to come to his aid.

It was the character design, the baroque-ish era the game is set in, the landscape as well as the soundtrack that got me hooked to this game, even if i did take a number of hiatus from it.

I still enjoy playing this game, just probably will login lesser hours.
My main characters have reached a leveling plateau and it would take way too long to advance to the next stage, just not that hardcore to push on, lol.

Most of the new recruitable characters and skills require cash shop items, not that i am getting them anyway. I will still login now and then to chat with the remaining faction mates, if they are not afking, hehehe. A bunch of nice memories from playing this game…
