HB’s itching to go out while I’m sooo not in the mood. Nowadays, I feel like I’m tired to go out and eat gourmet food. It’s sooooo hard to pick what I like! :( Being in this position is definitely not fun! Can’t wait for next year, BB5!

Classic French Onion Soup (P160). Gruyere Cheese Crouton
Cold night…need a hot soup to warm me up….I vowed to make my own so I don’t have to order it here or anywhere! The soup was just okay. I think I can do it better.

Baked Davao Goat Cheese Tart (P220). Tomato Coulis, Goat Cheese, Ligurian Olives and Fresh Arugula
Loved this! The tart was almost like the phyllo sheets….reminds me of the crusty dough flaky issue at A********….Love the arugula! It made the difference.

Angus Beef Rib (P1,680). Grilled to your liking, served with Braised Red Wine Shallots and Bone Marrow (Good for Two).
Medium well. Yummy. Braved in eating and ordering this…we’re not really a steak couple but HB decided that this was the best dish to order THAT night! I had to agree! Very tasty….he loved the shallots! To my dismay the “fat” inside the marrow was already hard and cold….but didn’t mind it much…at least the steak was superb! Had to take some home…too much meat….at night….won’t be able to sleep immediately.

Selection of Cream Custards (P140). Davao Vanilla, Green Tea and Coffee
We were tasting the custard creams over and over wondering why it doesn’t match with what their menu has itemized….They (the dessert team) took the liberty to change the flavors without informing the servers nor changing the menu. Minute details…but still!
Taste was creamy, it was okay but not super duper delicious.
I leave the rest of the story to my HB…101 ADF + Enderun. Was he satisfied? Read on…
Additional sharing: Did you know that nowadays, AD has already something to say when we visit a restaurant?
“The bread is hard.” “Restrooms are clean, Momma!” “Do they have crayolas, Momma?” “I don’t want to go back here, Momma because….”
He now has a mind of his own….Uh-oh…!
