MYOB. Make Your Own Burrito. On a Tortilla or Rice on A Bowl?

What rice would you want? Beans? Steak, Carnitas (Pork), Barbacoa (shredded beef), or Chicken? You can have mixed meat if you want to have a taste of both workds. Steak and barbacoa was good!

Other ingredients: Corn Salsa, Guacamole, Cheese, Sour Cream and Romaine Lettuce.

Burrito in a Bowl. I’m such a rice person.

Wide variety of beers. Thought these all looked familiar…and yes it was, also found this when we ate at Charlie’s…almost same owner.

I had the Yellow Cab store feel…thought it was owned by Yellow Cab. It was a relief to know it wasn’t, not that I have ill feelings toward YC, I just didn’t want for the food might be just similar to YC.
We brought the kids along but be warned, they are not into Mexican food. They did try but didn’t like it. It’s just the adults who are into such spicy and hot food except for me. HB loved this place. Me? There’s a hole in my stomach that wants to have comfort food. Alex III’s barbecue chicken perhaps?

June 16th, 2009 by mrsawesomeplanet:hellokitty.comSkinless Sausage (P220). Reminds me of the longganisa we used to make at home. My mom lost the recipe and now I’m craving for it. Risen from the dead!
Kilayin (P250). For me, this is like dinuguan except for its light colored sauce. Did you know that it was only in my college years that I learned how to eat dinuguan because we never eat these kind of food at home, not that it’s prohibited, it was just never cooked at home. Period.
Calamares (P250). I was surprised that didn’t make it to our yummy list but then, if it ain’t good, you’re OUT!
Arroz Cubana (P220). AD wanted this because he saw the sunny side up egg but when it was served, there was none. I didn’t bother to ask because something happened in between. I do not want to add more issue to what just transpired in the restaurant.
Sole Stuff (P350). No doubt, this was also a winner! Sole fish that enveloped some shrimps and some other stuff. (It ust frustrates me when I forget what ingredients were insidejust because I thought I’ll remember it…hay….)
This place reminded me of Petra and Pilar, carienda-like place owned by the Enrile family.
