Powerbooks Summer Activities

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

This is the time when I wish:
I had really looked through the internet on what AD can do “something” during the summer.
AD was older than 4yo o he can join some of the interesting activities listed below.

Other than that, I wish he still be my 4yo son.

We’re Back!

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Hallooooo!

We’re back from Cebu! We did nothing but eat, sleep, take photos, eat and sleep! Got our big butts back in Manila!

AD was so happy to see us home. He wouldn’t stop talking and was so hyper the entire evening. JX shyly smiled when he saw us. He was inseparable from his Poppa but missed me too! We surely missed the boys.

Next time, Poppa, we really need to bring the kids!

New BestFriend

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

My Avent manual breastpump gave up on me last night. It caught me by surprise when it suddenly cracked at the neck of the breastpump. What?! Sheesh! Of all times! We were scheduled to go to the province for the weekend and I was trying to collect all the milk I can for JX. How’s that? Anyway, thank God it happened last night. I still had time today to check out where I can buy another one. Actually, I was thinking if I need to buy a brand new or just source out from a friend. Eventually, the latter was ruled out and I bought my 3rd set of Avent manual breastpump.

I knew I didn’t want to buy in the mall because of it’s obvious jacked up price. So, what I did was check on multiply and ebay.ph for a brand new Avent breastpump. In no time, I decided on the ebay.ph seller. How did I decide? Easy…the buy now price was fair enough (Brandnew at P2500, mall price would be as much as double its price). The seller provided her mobile # so I was able to easily contact her and tell her I needed the breastpump today. Lastly, to ensure that this would be a smooth transaction, I looked at her feedback profile and it looked good. Eventhough she just joined ebay.ph just late last year, I just shrugged off the idea that she might be a fake and still decided on getting it from her. I was lacking time already.

Late this afternoon, stressed as I was, I got her response and agreed to meet and get my order. No choice, it was not the friendliest neighborhood but I had to get it. Good thing, I was able to request for a driver to go with me as I wasn’t familiar with the meet up location. After a few minutes, we met and I met my new bestfriend. Yehey! I quickly opened the box and my bestfriend is now waiting for me to use her.

JX have no fear for you will have an ample supply of breastmilk. Sorry to leave you again but I want you to know that I’ll always be thinking of you…and AD :) while we are far away from you.

We love you, JX and AD!
