Jollibee Chicken BBQ

Chicken Barbecue….AD’s new favorite in Jollibee…promise…when we went to JT’s Manukan the other night with my friends, he wanted Jollibee’s chicken barbecue.  Of course, there’s none.  But he kept on telling us that his favorite is chicken barbecue among others ha…have you tried it?   What did you think of it?

For those who haven’t tried it yet, here’s their price for solo and value meal:

1pc solo - P69;  1pc value meal (with drinks only) - P89

2pc - P119; 2pc value meal (with drinks only) - P139 (i think!)

Extra Java rice - P17; Plain Rice - P15

Atchara - extra P5.  No atchara included with the chicken barbecue (funny, they didn’t have it on the side)

PottySpray

Potty Spray

We use this!!! Pottyspray goes with me everywhere I (and AD) goes!  Even if I’m just going to the mall for an hour or two, I need to bring the small bottle of Pottyspray because my son, AD, is really fond of visiting the john.  I tell you, wherever we go, I can almost be sure that he will visit the john at least once so I was happy to be introduced to Pottyspray!  I bought ours at Rustan’s Makati, it costs P180/100ml while the bigger bottle at P300.  I hope it didn’t increase its price since I bought it more than 3-4 months ago.  (Backlog post!).

Before, I discovered PottySpray, I would usually bring my own supply of alcohol, tissue/ wipes and the toilet seat cover but now, no alcohol (but I still have one in my bag) anymore.  I still need to bring tissue/ wipes to wipe off the pottyspray and sometimes, still use the seat cover if the toilet is really out of this world! You know what I mean!  Now, I feel less icky when AD uses the toilet.  I just feel sometimes it is still unfair that I am always the one accompanying him.  Male bathrooms are a mess!  I don’t feel super confident even if I let AD and his Poppa bring the loot!  Am I the only one feeling that way?

About PottySpray:

Pottyspray kills 99.9% germs as well as disease-causing microbes, fungi and bacteria that alcohol alone cannot eliminate such as “Salmonella choleraesius”, “Candida albicans”, “Staphylococcus aureus” and “Echerichia coli (commonly known as E.coli)”.

Pottyspray Organic (YES!) Antibacterial Toilet Deodorizer and Disinfectant is a wonderful new formula specifically developed for your immediate and personal toilet hygiene needs. Using a new quaternary ammonium compound and tea tree essential oil, Pottyspray provides safe yet powerful disinfecting, deodorizing and anti-bacterial action.

Depending on the alcohol concentration and time of exposure to the alcohol, such bacteria and other non-enveloped viruses (hepatitis A and enteroviruses, which are both responsible for viral gastrointestinal infections) may not be eliminated.

This has been proven through an independent test by the UP Natural Sciences Research Institute (UP NSRI). Pottyspray is also BFAD approved.

For more information, check out Pottyspray’s website.

You can purchase your Pottyspray at Rustan’s, Shopwise, PCX, Landmark, The Baby Company, First Aid and Pocketful of Kids.

Update:  It is nice to know that AD would sometimes choose the restroom he “visits”.  But still, I do bring the 3 most important paraphernalia with me (that’s why I always have a big and bulky bag and too lazy to change bags, might leave something out!).

Voila Toys!

Voila Toys
FireTruck
Voila Toys
Helicopter

I’ve found another wooden toys I can collect for the kids. It’s called Voila toys from Thailand where it became the first Thai wooden toy company to earn the right to use the Green Label logo from the Thailand Environment Institute for products make from rubber wood (so it’s safe especially to a one-year old babies). I was so excited to have seen the wooden toy collections that I took several photos of the toys (but just had to post these two)…there were so many toys that I wanted for the boys (kitchen set! stove, microwave, sink and dishwasher, refrigerator, pizza, and many more) but that has to wait…will need to save up…so I’ll just buy one toy after another…
Like any other toys, these toys are carefully designed to stimulate children’s imagination as well as to support their physical and mental development. The Voila toys are well crafted and well thought of design, attractive with colorful designs) and safe to play with.

For more info about the toys, do checkout www.voilatoy.com.

Well, here’s the good news, I’m helping my friend sell these toys and you may contact me if you’re interested to collect their toys too! You can also check out www.goodtoys.com.ph, let them know that you got this tip from me or just contact me for availability of Voila toys.

AD/ JX Meets and Greets the Hi5!

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

I was set to surprise AD and JX with Meet and Greet Hi5 gang in one of the Ayala mall tour they’ll have this May but we got this opportunity to see them up close and personal last Tuesday. I was expecting it to be the Hi5 gang we were accustomed to when we were still watching TV 2.5 years ago but was surprised that they were a different set of young people. Totally new to us so when we had the photo op, I just say HI to them with a smile, not knowing what else to say.
