{PLATE SERIES 2} Piano Lessons This Summer

Hello Kitty Plates-4

I wish I’ve continued my piano lessons when I was in high school. Every Sunday, my aunt would teach me the basics but I never got to love it as much as she did. Actually, my mom, older sister and some of my aunts make wonderful music when they play the piano. Well, it is never too late…maybe AD would be interested to learn since he loves music, always singing when he feels like it and requests us to sing or to sing with him.

What a perfect timing! This summer enroll your kids in art, piano, swimming, basketball, karate, cooking, baking, or ballet lessons. It would make them busy while they are on vacation.

For the Rainy Days

Hello Kitty Raincoat

Save this for the next rainy season!  I found this together with the Hello Kitty umbrella at Shopwise supermarket and thought to post this.  Funny, but it was not easy looking for Hello Kitty things nowadays except maybe at Gift Gate.  I would usually find Barbie, Dora the Explorer and even Barney but hardly, any Hello Kitty or any Sanrio characters.  So better keep your Hello Kitty things, you might get something out of it.

Price: P199.75 (approximately $5)

A Book To Read With Papa

Hello Kitty with Papa

I was searching for more information on this book and I saw this review of Pixiepalace last Aug 2005.

“This is a cute little book about the Sanrio character Hello Kitty. She decides to spend a day with her father and he teaches her how to play baseball. The pictures are simple and colourful, as most Sanrio art is. The story is simple, but very sweet. I liked that the writing was simple and clear, as uncomplicated as the illustrations.” - Pixiepalace

Simple book that made me wish I’ve spent a day with my Dad doing anything we fancy.  But no, we were too busy living our own lives earning moolah that we forgot to simply appreciate each other.  I hope I still get a chance to do that when they come home.  Yes, it is never too late though.   I would also love to be with my mom which we haven’t gone shopping for a loooong time!

Won’t you love to read or buy this? This cute Hello Kitty book that can be found in Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street in Fort Bonifacio. Priced at around P340 ($9). Includes cool stickers.

Hello Kitty Camera

I’ve been wanting to post something to do with Hello Kitty or any Sanrio stuff but all I can produce is this one…a Hello Kitty camera! I saw this from my mom’s things to be sent out to my niece but I just had to borrow it first for this post. Bad, bad Aunt huh…Sorry, niece. I just had to use this. I will return this when we see each other next Sunday.

That’s one thing I miss…having girly stuff within my reach. All I have now is for the boys. Toys for the boys. I may not into girly, girly stuff but I pretty much remember that we have lotsa things that are Sanrio related because of my mom and grandmother.  They love to buy those for us (my older sister and I) especially when they go out of the Philippines. I also remember that I have a photo taken with Kiki when I was in my pigtail years.  I’ll just have to look for it and maybe share with you if I look presentable.

Anyway, back to the Hello Kitty camera. My mom got it from McDonald’s (so, that’s why it looked familiar huh!). While playing with it, I tried clicking the stick button up there (thinking, wow! I can click it!) and looking at the viewfinder, I knew it! It was too good to be true! The Hello Kitty was the one and only photo there.  It was not moving! Bummer! I was excited pa naman. To add, it was a manual camera with a rewind function!

Now, I would really return this to my niece! :)
