Thai Salad (which is a bit spicy) with a small piece of bread with pate
weird….i thought we were in a french restaurant….thai salad?
Soupe a L’Oignon (P250 +10%sc). Caramelized Onion Soup with White Wine & Gratineed
Yummy! On a rainy day like this, we need a warm cup of soup to heat us up! Love it! (Been ordering this lately…i’ll try to make one at home! Time to really do some work! I’ll be very busy in a couple of months!)
Poulet Roti Provencal (P350 +10%sc). Roast Spring Chicken stuffed with Forty Cloves of Garlic, Provence Herbs & served with Sauteed Potatoes & Saffron Aioli Sauce
I’m not fond of dry chicken nowadays…didn’t want to eat HB’s food…
Bouillabaisse (P635+10%sc). Seafood Stew from Marseille with Scallops, served with Garlic Croutons and Saffron Aioli Sauce
Nyek! Surprised to see a clear soup…is it really clear or I’m just used to cream based soup that has been altered for Filipino tastebuds once again….always a victim!
Would love to try those pates and sausages….maybe next year once I’ve popped BB5 out! :D Till then!
Nougat Glace aux Pistaches (P250+10%sc). Iced Nougat with Ginger Pistachios (Provence) and Almond Tuiles
Quite unique dessert. At first, you will not like it but after two slices, you’ll want it all to yourself. I guess the ginger makes it very peculiar.
We also bought their macarons but it was soooo big….and was just okay.
I was also surprised that La Cuisine was open on a Sunday and not jampacked. Surprised because its location is within the office buildings and usually, restos situated there are closed because of non-revenue day for them and I guess, it’s a rest day for their staff.
