Makansutra in Manila
This reminded me the time when we went to Singapore for a semi-food trip…arrived a day early then leave SG a day later (I think!)…and Makansutra was one of the places we went to….where tourist usually go to…and now, I was surprised to find it here in Manila…where Ocean Adventure is…It is located inside the mall and not the al fresco set-up they have in SG.
I was having a hard time in choosing my meal so I let HB decide while I added a dish or two but somehow, with my condition, I was never happy with what I eat. This has been happening to me for almost a month now. So I guess, whatever I say now (a few weeks before would not be true after a few weeks or months…it depends on my condition but I hope it will be OVER!!!! I’m never full these days but feel full only!)

Prawn Mee Soup (P130)
Naah….not my mee soup..too shrimpy taste…and why is there a meat?!

Oyster Omelet with Rice (P125)
It was too late when I decided to cancel my order of this…when I saw how they were cooking the omelet…i said…uh-oh..I better like this (but I know in my heart and tummy, I won’t and true, I didn’t like it!) Just egg with omelet toppings! Oily of course because it is an oyster omelet.

Bak Kuh Teh (P95)
These days I’ve been having bak kut teh soup (soup package c/o of my SG friends) and I think I’m over this! I know HB has been craving for a good one! Did HB liked it?

Singapore Chicken Rice (Regular - P140)
I knew HB would order this! It was nothing like the Hainanese chicken he loves in SG! No fragrance in the rice! Didn’t taste the chicken anymore because I was not in the mood….I’m not in my right self nowadays….

Ice Kacang (P85).
This is where I found my happiness! I was surprised to find a mango pudding inside but that made me happy! AD was contented with his bite - Nata de Coco.
OVERALL: I do hope when I do visit them again, my tastebud would be normal!
I loved the way my JX smiled here (below photo)….I don’t think you would be able to see it with this small frame. He was all smile…you can only see the eye slit ![]()
