Peng’s Bread Box Cafe
Skinless Sausage (P220). Reminds me of the longganisa we used to make at home. My mom lost the recipe and now I’m craving for it. Risen from the dead!
Kilayin (P250). For me, this is like dinuguan except for its light colored sauce. Did you know that it was only in my college years that I learned how to eat dinuguan because we never eat these kind of food at home, not that it’s prohibited, it was just never cooked at home. Period.
Calamares (P250). I was surprised that didn’t make it to our yummy list but then, if it ain’t good, you’re OUT!
Arroz Cubana (P220). AD wanted this because he saw the sunny side up egg but when it was served, there was none. I didn’t bother to ask because something happened in between. I do not want to add more issue to what just transpired in the restaurant.
Sole Stuff (P350). No doubt, this was also a winner! Sole fish that enveloped some shrimps and some other stuff. (It ust frustrates me when I forget what ingredients were insidejust because I thought I’ll remember it…hay….)
This place reminded me of Petra and Pilar, carienda-like place owned by the Enrile family.

did you know that the family that owns this place just died? They were killed in their home this weekend…. sad…. Ariel, Pilar and Adrian.
Condolence…
I find it so sad and no one deserves to die like they did…
