Hito Flakes on Spoon (P180). Crispy pulled catfish with mango salad.
Ten-(10) spoons of hito flakes. Nice presentation. Nice tasting dish too based on adults’ taste buds.

Seafood Bean Curd Wansoy Soup (P180). A flavorful broth of shrimp, mussels and squid, topped with cilantro.
I liked this soup because it was not sinigang which my HB loves! Kids loved it too that they got my share too! Wish I remembered to allot one share to JX. He was the one who motioned me to give him more of the soup whenever I stop. Uh-oh, a sign that he also loves eating!

Tinapa Rice (P150). Stir-fried rice tossed with smoked fish flakes and topped with tomatoes and red salted egg.
We loved this rice. Very full of flavor that nothing was spared. Usually, I’ll order plain rice so I can really taste the dish we order but this time, M ordered the rice, nakitikim lang kami. Good choice, M! Everybody loved this.

River Shrimp (Suwahe) on the rocks (Rikki’s Favorite) (P280).
HB was curious on how this was done so we got an order of this….He was impressed but was not impressed with the price tag that came with it.

Laing 2 Ways (P120). Taro leaves, pork, shrimp paste and coconut cream topped with adobo flakes, served original and crispy.
We liked the crispy laing over the mushy and oily looking laing.

Salpicao Ostrich (P280). Ostrich tenderloin, the salpicao way.
I loved this! The meat was so tender and full of flavor! Also the nori strips gave another flavor twist. I could just eat this with lotsa cups of rice. Yum Yum!
