There are times when I love eating macaroons but those are rare moments. I’m partial to custards so if I were to chose between macaroons and custard, my head would turn towards CUSTARD.

But what will happen if I’d have custaroons? What is a custaroons? Well, custaroons are custard and macaroons mixed. What?! Mixed?! So how can you distinguish which is which? Silly! The custard portion is on top of the macaroon…hmmm, interesting! But do you think it works? I mean, would it really be great tasting? Well, here it is….

Honestly, I was kinda hesitant if I’d like it because I feel it’s weird to combine custard and macaroons into ONE. But eventually, I tried it and…..the first bite was really more of the macaroons. You’d immediately recognized that there’s a macaroons flavor in the “cupcake” and simply ignore the fact that there was indeed a custard on top. But as you’d look closely, you’d see the division of custard and macaroons in the middle. As I finished off the 1st cupcake piece of the custaroons, I was yearning for another…it gets into you actually BUT one thing I’d want to have is a creamier, softer custard.

Next thing that popped into my mouth was Gigi’s another custaroons flavor - cheese. I liked this better than the original custaroons because the cheese neutralized the sweet taste of both the custard and macaroons. I wish I ate more of these than the original one before it was all gone…
