Fatless Rack of Lamb on Sauteed Spinach (P1,185 +10% SC) with Dauphine Potato and Goat Cheese Sauce.

The lamb was cooked right.  The meat was just okay.  I liked the pillow potato and thought AD and JX would love it.  They did!  I didn’t really get to taste the goat cheese in the sauce…more of no cheese sauce.

Grilled Chilean Sea Bass on Buerre Blanc (P995 +10%sc) with Crispy Skin, served with grilled Vegetable Timbale and Parsley Potatoes.

I know HB will not eat the crispy skin so I got a piece.  Yum! Don’t think I got to taste this one…

Roasted Lapu-Lapu in Tomato Tarragon Salsa (P695 +10%sc)

For my MIL.

Fresh Norwegian Salmon and Scallops Garnished with Salmon Roe (P850 +10% SC ) on a Light Dill Yogurt Sauce.

For my FIL.

Fettuccine with Roasted Prawns and Blue Cheese Sauce (P550 +10% SC).

I got to taste the pasta and it was good.  The problem would be eating it by yourself because you might get “suya” becauseof the creamy blue cheese sauce.  The roasted prawn was a breaker from the monotonous creamy taste of the pasta.  Good thinking, BIL, for splitting the dish with Cha.

Souffle Regular Size (P350+10% SC) Banana Caramel, Chocolate Dark or White, Coffee Crunch, Flambeed Mango, Praline and Grand Marnier.

We got the Chocolate Dark, Praline and Grand Marnier.  HB wanted to try the Grand Marnier variant hoping this would taste great.  Sad to say, he didn’t like it.  He still loved the Grand Marnier ice cream he had at his Tagaytay tour.

It would be nice to have some cocktails before your dinner while hanging out at the bar.

My HB read my thought.  He reserved a table in a secluded room so we could limit the kids inside knowing that Le Souffle caters to a more serious crowd and might get irritated with kids running around.  (Sorry, but this didn’t stop me from bringing AD before, why stop now?  This is an important occasion to celebrate with the entire D family.) I do hope the table near our table wasn’t distracted too much by the kids’ voice and laughter.  They were just very fortunate (haha) to also get a table inside the room hoping for a quiet business dinner.

My parents for 6 years ~ inseperable, still so sweet towards each other after being married for 38th years.  Will we be as sweet as them?…Nu-ni-nu-ni-nu…
