The New CheeseSteak Joint
Guess you’ve heard about this new joint huh.
Di ako nabusog (I didn’t get full) after finishingthis 8in long sandwich. hahaha Actually, I know why…because I was sharing it with AD and I’m not really a sandwich person especially when it’s lunch or dinner time. I really look forward in eating rice meals. And matakaw talaga ako (And I eat so much).
We got the Provolone Cheesesteak (photo below) and Pizza Cheesesteak at P390 and P420 each, respectively.
We both like the Provolone Cheesesteak better than the Pizza Cheesesteak because of the distracting taste of the tomato sauce. Actually, it was like having a burger with tomato catsup on it. It had that sour taste which provides a twist on the burger and for this, for the cheesesteak sandwich. I’m just not into the sour-y tasting food…I’m more of a sweet-ik food lover person. So, I guess, if you love burgers with lotsa catsup, you’ll love this. Be prepared to be in a messy set-up after eating the sandwich…but I’m sure burger/ sandwich lovers are used to eating such.
I liked the Provolone Cheesesteak sandwich better. It had a kinda monotone taste compared with the Pizza Cheesesteak sandwich. The provolone cheese added slight flavor to the beef slices, not to mention the sweet grilled onions! Provolone cheese is similar to mozarella with a fuller flavour. Hmmm, another alternative snack! :) I love eating mozarella. It’s just that you need to consume immediately or it gets mold easily. And of course, we need to watch what we eat….calories, calories, dear!
FYI: The American Cheesesteak is what kids like (maybe because of the cheddar cheese they put, full flavour!) but I want to try the Provolone.
The bread was very different from your usual burger joint because when we began biting into it, the thickness wasn’t much noticed (actually, it was already flat/ thin for AD to be able to bite into it) but you will know the difference. There is that crispiness at the outside while very chewy in the inside. It’s different and I liked it. I had to go back and ask what their bread was. Too bad, I forgot to ask where they buy it because I’ll buy it too!
And here’s their menu….
I assume they’ll be adding more to the menu as the months pass by…
They’re on soft opening for a month. They opened last January 31. They are giving free sodas for every order of sandwich until they full operational. They ran out of beef when it was afternoon snack time…not bad for a second day huh!

Glad U liked it, I prefer my cheesesteak sandwich with just the meat, the cheese and mayonaise. (not sure if I spelled it correctly)

I pa-ssed by that restaurant a few days ago. I actually contemplated to have lunch there, but with the heavy price tag for a sandwich, I’d rather go for Pepper Lunch.

Yup! Rice pa rin nakakabusog.
We could probably get this for a snack and split it for 3 people. Hehehe.
