Shinozaki Farm-2

Organic Eggs at P100/dozen

Shinozaki Farm

Standard basket of vegetables at P650.

Check out for more detaled information on my HB’s post:  Shinozaki Farm - Organic Vegetables

Yes, we tried eating these vegetables but sadly, I wasn’t really able to differentiate it in taste.  I know it would also be in the long run especially on how its reaction with your body.  I would love to patronize on really being healthy (eating vegetables that are grown organically)  soon but not now.  Really.  But I’m thinking of so many things now.

If you are into organic healthy lifestyle, can you share more with me because we are really wanting to be in that phase in the future….Many thanks!

Top Meals-22

I love this photo!  I loved the background lights from Rockwell that this created with the Top Meals tambayan place! :D

Top Meals-7

Hmmmm….should I or should I not bring JX here?  A first hesitation for JX because I have not been exposing JX to such place.  I mean, he is usually left at home to sleep to gain more strength since he is a growing boy.  Also, to be able to sleep early without his older brother disturbing his sleep.  Anyway, it was obvious that we did try the place.  Good thing, it was already night time and so, it was not humid.  It was a bit raining so we were also careful with the kids.  We just parked in front so there was minimal exposure of getting drenched in case the rain pour like there’s no tomorrow.

Top Meals-17

Pinakbet (P64).
As much as we can, we’d order a vegetable dish to go with our meat dish.  Kinda oily to look at, but it was acceptable.  This is our mainstay dish at home.  I’d love to have more sauce in my dish though.

Top Meals-12

Bicol Express (P65) and Pork Binangoongan (P61).

One rice each please….two more please….and the plates were ready to go after a few minutes on our table.  I loved the Pork Binagoongan!  It was a different kind that I had never tasted before nor have you unless you’ve tried it here!  Wilson, the owner, thought of this on his own!  The difference was the way he toasted the alamang prior to mixing it with the pork.  This made it more tasty.  All along I thought it was some kind of chicharon but it was not.  Nice thinking Wilson!

I wasn’t able to taste the Bicol Express.  I wanted to try the laing but they ran out.  One of the best sellers!

If this Top Meals were near my college school, I’m sure I’ll be eating here most of the time. hahaha

Angel’s Kitchen

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Angel’s Kitchen made it worth our trip to Greenhills.  One reason was that Tangerine Restaurant was close for lunch.  Two, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated and third, we were quite satisfied with what we had.

Angel's Kitchen-1

To let my mind wander and get busy, we munched on the complimentary bread and chicken liver spread.  Even the kids loved it!  JX munched on the bread until he was full of it while AD kept on getting one bread then another that we had to ask for more several times.  Diba sila lugi? hahaha Of course not!

Angel's Kitchen-17

We were curios if this Soft-shell Crab with Mango Poppy Seed Dressing (P278) was similar to waht we had at Thai Patio.  Actually, it was more of the soft shell crab that made us order this salad.  (more…)

All About Parking Fees

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

I just want to start listing all the parking fees in malls/ buildings (or wherever)  so please bear with me as I only have a few to begin with.  I will update my list everytime I can.

If I don’t start now, I know I will forget about this.  The reason for this documentation is for people like me be aware of the parking charges and will have the option on where to park (although there are times when you don’t have a choice) or maybe we can start to think of ways on how to save money on gas + parking fees (i.e., go to places that offer free parking but of course, security is also an additional thing to consider).

Small ways of saving makes a big difference once you compute it.

Fine Dining @ Tangerine

Tangerine-44

This time we made sure that Tangerine is open.  We tried going here for lunch but apparently, they only open for dinner till wee hours and is closed on Sundays.

Tangerine-1

The bread we had were warm so it was a nice touch to a somewhat stiff ambiance in Tangerine.  But what do you expect…it’s a formal place to dine where customers are almost dressed to kill.  As always, an exception was us.  We were just dressed casually but presentable.  I would think this is JX’s 1st formal dinner with us.  I was quite conscious because JX has been wanting to walk around and can’t quite sit still.  Boy, we’re in this the second time…
