This is Where…

Actually, the sentence should have been…

This is near where I parked my car when I went to Divisoria.  Golden Fortune is along Soler St.  and there’s a pay parking near, right in front of PSBank.  I was bringing my car ALONE for the very first time.  I am not an expert around downtown so I had to ask a friend of mine where I can safely park my car and she pointed me here….

Golden Fortune

Too bad, it was not the night where my HB and his friends had dinner because I would just be in time for that dinner.  I arrived around 9am and left before 8pm.  Talk about being obsessed with Divisoria!  There’s so much to find there but so little time!  Everytime I go there, the time flies soooo fast that I dread of going home hahaha AND schedule another trip back (w/c usually takes me months before I can go back nowadays…with 2 kids! Pffttt!).

I don’t usually bring my car to Divisoria but I had to buy these heavy stuff and no way will I carry those load by myself!  So, I had no choice but to bring my own car but to tell you honestly, it is much better to just commute especially this holiday season where traffic is at peak at all times.

Have you been to Divisoria?  How do you go there and where do you go?

I would usually go to 168 mall but before 168, I’ve been a regular at Divi Mall which is just a walking distance from 168.   I buy anything I fancy but you have to check its quality before you buy.  There’s so much I have yet to discover…I have yet to spend a day with my SIL because she is the expert around Divisoria!

So, what about you?

We only go to Divisoria like once a year. We shop in 168 and Divisoria Mall. We always want to shop there, but it’s so hard to park and those nasty watch your car people charges a lot. :(

Bags!!! Hehe. It’s also a great place for giveaways. :D

I don’t know where the toys are…would love to see those. One of the toy forums I visit mentioned about collectibles in Divisoria. The only shop I encountered was the Japan surplus doll shop at 168, and that was last year.

There was also a statue shop like 5 years ago. Also, one of the old toy distributors here mentioned that they have a store in Divi Mall, but I saw them during the Toy Kingdom Warehouse sale, which is good enough for me. XD

Ohh nooo! I should visit that building soon!

The doll shop was at the 2nd floor, 168 main building. I’m not sure if they’re still there. I was able to get a big Mushiking doll and some cute anime UFO catcher dolls.

During the Toycon, there was a stall there called Japanime. They had tons of original anime goodies and dolls. I believe they have a store in QC.

As for the statue shop, they specialized more on re-cast resin figures. I bought a small Ragnarok Online statue around 5 inches in height for Php 200. I also saw some Alien, Predator statues around 2 feet in height below 1k and some super hero stuff. I couldn’t find the shop anymore though…

when i go to divisoria, i often arrive at around 7 am it’s a bit too early but you will get a comfortable parking space available @ 168 parking lot. I usually buy heavy things since i go to divisoria for business and leisure purposes. Thus, bringing a car is a must but if you want cheaper parking, the side of the police station at the corner of Meisic street offers parking slots much cheaper than 168 parking space. It’s nearer than parking near the heart of Chinatown ^_^ and it pays to be early.
