Sweets @ LSM
This was the first food I bought in LSM. I was hungry and I wanted something to eat for lunch but I was undecided. But I knew I wanted these!

Assorted Desserts: Sobyet and Baklava with Walnut, Hazelnut, Pistachio Filling (P250).
I should’ve eaten this after eating lunch and not when we got home. i should’ve put it in the refrigerator to cool it but I didn’t. When it was time to eat it, it was kinda soggy and too sweet already. Hay. But I’m sure these ones good if I’d eaten it earlier! What caught my attention was the different nut filling of the baklava…hazelnut…pistachio…I love those nuts!

Plantanilla. Where did this come from?! It was the sweetest plantanilla I’ve ever tasted! (Because this was the first time I’ve eaten it!). Egg crepe with latik. Urgh! I’m not a fan of latik. I remove the latik found on top of the rice cake desserts. Oily! But this one, you barely taste the latik that I got to eat one whole piece of the plantanilla. I wonder how many plantanilla I would’ve eaten if the serving plate was still full of it…hmmm….I tell you, this is sweet! Good thing, the ants got shorter legs!

Imang Salud Classic Ensaymada (P 160). I’m not a fan of ensaymada either but from the looks of my boys…this is a winner! They just can’t stop eating this ensaymada…everything from the parmesan cheese to the bits of crumbs that fell…they take no chance..Heat this and eat it while warm with a cup of hot chocolate form the Chocolate Factory hehe. Maybe they should also sell hot chocolate made from the tablea. This would be a great idea especially the rainy season…people would stay from breakfast to merienda time. Cool!
Froyo Frozen Yogurt P65.
Always on the lookout for this Froyo cart. We love all the flavors — from vanilla to super dark chocolate to mango to strawberry. AD finished off the whole cup. Good thing, you can buy these Froyo’s in Saturday and Sunday’s Makati Market.
AD was given a small cup to taste it and instantly, he wanted more. One cup please! That was all that was left. That’s what you get for being so super slow in deciding!

Crepe.
We weren’t able to try their crepe but from the looks of it, I’m pretty sure this is also a HIT! Next visit, we would surely get a dessert crepe…among other sweets.
So, are you convinced enough to try LSM? If you won’t be free in Sunday then go to Salcedo Saturday market. It is equally fun walking around and trying all the dishes there! Just pray that it won’t rain so you can bring your kids or your dogs! A wonderful morning to walk around the park with so many temptations!
