Food @ Legaspi Sunday Market
At long last, we were able to visit this Makati Sunday Market! We went to hear Mass first before we fill up our tummy with yummy food.
We were supposed to meet up with the foodie people around 9ish but we had to fulfill our Sunday obligation so we arrived past 10am. The food were already running out. It was a rainy Sunday morning so it was a challenge to go through the tents with JX with me. AD was with his Poppa. Luckily, we still chanced upon several food that caught my eye…
Hmmm, the couple were very busy with their noodles. I forgot to ask what vegetables was mixed with their handmade noodles…I was hungry already! Me and HB separated ways because he had a different objective for being there while I was really looking out for something to fill me up because my little boy is hungry as well. He was not in his very cheerful mood. He was in fact, bubbling…maybe bubbling that he is a growing boy that needs to be fed..at once!
Actually, I kept on coming back to this stall and kept on checking them out. I learned that they really make their noodles from scratch…from kneading, rolling, dough passing through the pasta slicer and lastly, boiling it. The next time I passedby (because it was nearing closing time and I haven’t decided on what to eat), I decided that I had to order. This time, I ordered that was not in the menu.
I was looking at this guy’s bowl (whom you can see is putting condiments on MY bowl) when he was getting his order…this made me asked him, what he ordered because it seemed that it was not part of the menu–mixture of everything! Gladly!, this guy told me. He told the lady to hold off the tofu and put a little of this and that. This and that toppings were the plump black mushrooms (I loved this!), some shrimps, dumplings, beansprouts and voila! By the way, the guy who I’ve asked what’s in his bowl and helped me with the condiments is the guy who owns BudBud Kabog. He is the stall next to Manvy’s. He was such a gentleman helping a damsel in distress. I think he saw that I was very hungry already and there I was on my other arms was JX. He was very helpful. Thank you very much Sir! By the way, I love your Budbud Kabog, Sir!
Before I forget, the seafood special noodles that I had cost me P120.

Quattro Formaggio (P150) Pizza. Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Kesong Puti, Danish Cheese & Parmessan.
I loved this even if I didn’t know the exact ingredients until now that I’m blogging this. I’d go back and try their other flavors when we go back but knowing what the toppings are.

Galette (Ham, Tomato, Cheese and Egg) P149.
Double yummy! With buckwheat flour, cheese, tomato and egg, how can you go wrong! Best eaten when hot…totally yummy! Their crepe and galette price ranges from P100 to P199.

Takoyaki P40 for 5pcs. I do not know what is in these Japanese balls that I just can’t resist. When I see a stall selling Takoyaki balls, I just had to buy one. If I like it, I’ll order another and another. But this time, I just got one. This one’s just okay so I’m still on the hunt for the best Takoyaki balls. So far, I love Samurai balls. I think they were the first one to give us a taste of it. But to be honest, it has been a while since I’ve seen a stall here.
If you think I missed something that I should not have, drop me a note so I have to convince my HB to visit Legaspi Market once again.

There is usually a Samurai outlet at the foodcourt section of SM Supermarket and/or Hypermart. Like you, I find it difficult to resist takoyaki. I also noticed that there are takoyaki kiosks sprouting around the malls, it’s simply named Takoyaki Balls. I had one at Filinvest Alabang Foodcourt and Ever Gotesco.
