Another grilled chicken restaurant discovery…this one is near Shopwise Makati.  If it weren’t from a tip, we would not have discovered this since tricycles are surrounding this place.  Actually, AD was quite hesitant to go down the car.  Aside from the noise tricycles make, it was a very hot day when we visited the place last June.  AD perspires easily and he does not like it.

Why else go to a place like these but to order the ONE!  Loving these chicken to the bones!  Worth the wait!  We just had to entertain our son while waiting for our order to be served on our table because it takes quite a while before the chicken is cooked.  He was very wary of the tricycle sounds that echoe into his 2 sensitive young ears.  He kept on insisting that we go backinside the car but we were not swayed…because we were hungry already and so does he!

This is my only healthy alternative choice…yummy too!  This photo was taken when my HB once again visited the place with a friend.  He was not happy with the meat quality but the first time we visited the place, the meat was tender and of good quality.  So, Bacolod Chicken House Express needs to get a consistent meat supplier.

My only two qualms in such place is that the smell (grilled food and smoke) and no available veggies and soup for us to order.  For those who perspire a lot and doesn’t want to smell, either bring an extra shirt with you (but it would not really remove the grilled food smell, it would just lessen) or just eat there when you are about to go home so you and only you can only smell thyself.
