Have you ever watched a LIVE Comedy show? If NO, here is your chance! They will be at Spicy Fingers on 11 & 25 August 2008. Show starts at 8pm. Entrance Fee: P150. It is just like watching a movie but this one’s LIVE guys!

What makes this different from your usual comedy act that you’ve heard about or watched?

Well, for one this is not a gay comedy. Their punchlines are smart and witty without having to insult the audience.

This was our first time to watch a stand-up comedy and we had fun. Another not your usual date. Also, a first because the cast were all MALE. It was like watching a boxing match because there were the professional comedienne and in between slots, amateur comedienne would have their turns. Each comedienne has their own time limit (5 minutes for amateur and longer for the more experienced ones) so you won’t get bored easily. Topics were of various subjects. Some made me laugh, some didn’t. What made me laugh were subjects where I can relate to and what didn’t make me laugh were those I’ve heard before and off topics such as religion and politics. An example would be the guy whose subject was conversation between him and his wife, I really had a blast with that guy! Can’t stop laughing. They screen their spiel (but need to screen more) and try it out to the audience (at a different venue for FREE. I can share with you where, just let me know.) if it clicks then they would proceed in

The show started a little past 8pm but that’s okay because we were having our dinner at Spicy Fingers. Plan to be there early so you can get good seats. It ends at 10pm because there would be a band playing after. By the way, it is better to take your leak before the show so you wouldn’t miss a thing although you can hear the sounds while you are in the restroom.
