Whenever my HB goes out-of-town these past months, he brings some brownie points with him. I am not sure if it is for me or for his AD. But what counts is his being thoughtful and sweet. I suddenly missed those times when he was still courting me that he would bring something from his trip, no matter how small it was, he would be proud of it. Usually, it would be something good to eat and after doing it, I begun looking forward to those treats. Yes, I was pampered then. hehehe

This time, my HB surprised us with this — Pastillas De Leche! Argh! I forgot about this Pastillas. I’ve had this when I was still working. Whenever an officemate of mine would go home to his province, Tuguegarao, he would bring several  plastic of these thinly sliced Pastillas wrapped in japanese paper! I would usually finish off one plastic all by myself! Sorry about that, but I can’t seem to stop myself from eating it. So addicting, promise! And so, when I got to taste this, I remembered those times. I’m not sure though if this was the same BUT my HB swears that this is the BEST Pastillas there. I’ll just ask this friend of mine if this is the same pastillas he brings (will update you the minute i get his contact information).

HB just brings home the best kind of goodies for us. Aw! He really remember us when he is away from us. Touching…touching…

We usually pass The A.Venue along Makati Ave. and wonder what else is inside the building aside from the outside restaurants we see…Contempo, Burger Avenue and Gasthof Deli. I was surprised to see that there are several restaurants operating already. To name a few: Oki Oki Japanese Restaurant, Fluke!, Artina Art Gallery & Cafe’, Attica Bar & Lounge, Naked Juice Bar, Plate & Yummy, Shin Dang Dong, Sutameshi, Texas BBQ and Sicilian Express.

So many choices but we decided on Fluke! Cuisine From Home.

I’m on Avenue Q high tonight. We just finished watching the show and can’t wait to watch it again tomorrow night.
