World Pyro Experience on a Yacht

The Prince of Tides at World Pyro-9
HB decided to experience the World Pyro in a different setting for this year (his 3rd of the World Pyro) — sailing the Manila Bay. No, we’re not that hugging couple.

Tagging along (tagging?!) with us was this sailboat…suddenly, I wished I was with that group!

Up close. They were swaying as the wind was kinda strong. But I’m sure the people on board pretty much enjoyed the windy and exciting ride.

HB made sure that we got a slot on the last Saturday of the World Pyro because the Philippines will showcase their innovative imagination into action.

Whoa! Nicely done! I kept on pondering what if we brought AD here, would he like it? There were so many what ifs but what we overlooked was, us riding on the yacht. I didn’t realize that the weather was not fit for him to be in the yacht. It was windy and a bumpy ride. I think AD would like to be inside the yacht BUT I also realized that it would not also work out if we brought AD along (He would’ve eaten and riden the yacht for FREE!). You know why? Because when I returned from my water break (inside the yacht), I got dizzy. So, if we, AD and I, just stayed inside and then transfer from one place to another, I wouldn’t be able to make it. I shouldn’t have asked for Bonamin but I thought I can manage. It was a totally different experience riding on that kind of a yacht from the ship we rode going to Corregidor or from the boats used to and from an island.

This was La Mancha’s finale. It was firing towards us — yachts on the Manila Bay. We were quite surprised with what happened but very happy that we were kinda acknowledged being there — the others.

This was the after effect. We even caught sight of tea lights when it landed somewhere on the yacht. So, that’s how they did the lasting light effect.

This was a nice excuse to embrace your date for the night so maybe next time, you’d try reserving 2 slots for you and your date. Paying P1,800 per person (vs P1,500 of the World Pyro organizer) was not bad at all because you got an advantage of seeing the fireworks at a fair distance while on a yacht, dinner was included and best of all, not at all crowded. Lastly, we did not get stuck in traffic after the event.

Let me know if you’re interested so we can give you our contact. Also, the organizer do offer almost the same services for special occasions like Valentines’ Day.
