Right Foot, Left Foot, Feet, Feet, PURPLE Feet

Purple Feet -1

Okay, class. This is the menu for the day. You may choose the meat you crave for and the way you would like your meat to be cooked. This is Purple Feet’s freestyle cooking. A unique experience that caught me by surprise. What?! I wasn’t able to properly gather my thoughts (I got nervous hahaha) thus, a boring lengua meal was in front of me. Sad but I got over it immediately because of my experience with Chef Ed Quimson. Yes! I was rewarded in no time.

I do not know why but whenever I come across the word mushroom in a soup or appetizer, I get tempted. And so, I gave in to my urge. We got the stuffed mushroom while waiting for cousin P. Boy, did I regret ordering this! This was OVER fried or the oil used was good anymore (Don’t they use Golden Fiesta? hahaha). It tasted burnt! And I don’t like burned food. Who would?! Maybe somebody would like it but not me. Hay. We should’ve complained no?

When HB was asked what he wanted and how he would like his food to be prepared…he said, “I want my food to be exotic!”. I said to myself, “Wow, HB! Where did that came from?” He even said that he wanted to be surprised, same way he would always suprise AD. This was a winner for him and for me. I was really envious of what he had…I kept on comparing mine and I got sadder and sadder.  Oh and he had this foie gras sauce!  It was yummy!  AD also liked it!  I tell you, AD got expensive taste at times.

HB got the cobbler with prawns.  Chef Marco aced this test of HB.

This looked delish for me but I don’t think my cousin P was very happy with it. I forgot what she ordered but you can check it out at my HB’s post. Yep, too lazy to look it up now. I need to complete this for I accidentally published this entry w/o finishing my post…Okay, here’s what she ordered, stuffed chicken.

Wines! Wines! Wines! I was too nervous with AD running around.

They would have this food and wine pairing where they have a food set menu and they pair it with a wine that would enhance the food.   This is perfect for a no expert like me.

Purple Feet -7

Yes, this was my boring dinner.  Lengua with tomato sauce.  Buhuhuhu

Purple Feet -12

I would have loved to dine outside but at the time that we were there, it was humid hot.  No way will I be in that kind of heat.  Too hot for me especially when the only drinking water they have is this bottled water that costs P80+ each!  Yikes!  That’s the only water they have.  So, I have to just sip, sip and sip only (I should’ve gone to the car and got our big water jug).  I guess this discourages people like me to drink water when they have all the wonderful tasting wines around.  But how about those people who would like to try Purple Feet but only drinks water?
