Fried Picks at LZM

I am not too fond of fried food.  I do eat fried food but if I can avoid eating it, I will.  I have no choice now.  I eat what is served on the table.  My mom taught me that.  Do not be picky with food.  At least, we have food to eat unlike some other people out there who starve.

And so, here I am sharing with you what we had on a Sunday lunch at LZM in Silang, Cavite…

LZM Bangus-2
Bangus (P250).  A big fat one I say!  I say, it is worth the price!  I love eating the belly with steaming rice.  I’m satisfied.  MarketMan described this as simply delicious when he wrote a post on the Best Bangus - LZM.

LZM Bangus-3
Lechon Kawali (P160). Munch, crunch, and munch.  Oooh, sinful pig!  I can’t take it no more! How I wish I didn’t agree to order this.  I was kinda full because of the breakfast we had so I only had two pieces.

You can choose where to dine — air-conditioned room or in a bahay kubo (hut).  I would’ve chosen the former but suddenly, we were led to the bahay kubo!  What?  We were with the two kids and HubbyBubbly wanted to eat there?  He was lucky that the kids were untouchables (thanks to the newly bought Ilog Maria Sting-less Citronella Insect Repellant) that time or else.  Tsk. Tsk.  I can’t blame him for choosing the latter since he was always on the adventureous side.  I have to constantly remind him that we have kids in tow and he has to ALWAYS consider them in whatever we do from now on.

the fish. . . man. I wish fried foods didn’t make you feel like you were about to break out in hives all the time. :( it would be so much less, uh, sinful eating them.

isn’t fried fish on neutral ground since it’s fried (unhealthy) but it’s fish (healthy)? hehehe! Or is this the kind of thinking that will check me into a hospital earlier than I anticipate? Hmm…
