Corporate Events @ SM Science Discovery Center

Here’s more information when you plan to hold your corporate event at SM Science Discovery Center:

A. Walk-In Rate:

P330/ per head (weekday/ weekend)

B. Corporate Group Rates:

Group Size/Weekday/Weekend

50-199 pax/P300/P310

200-499pax/P280/P290

500-999pax/P260/P270

1000pax&above/P240/250

C. Package Inclusion Based on Group Size:

- Gallery tour;

- One Planetatium show;

- Tables & Chairs set-up;

- Lectern and screen projector;

- Two-(2) hour use of 1 party room with basic lights and sound system (minimum of 100 pax); OR

- Two-(2) hour use of 2 party room with basic lights and sound system (minimum of 300 pax);

- Provision of two-(2) hour venue exclusivity for a minimum group of 500 pax (subject to venue rental fee); OR

- Provision of four-(4) hour venue exclusivity for a minimum group of 1,000 pax (subject to venue rental fee).

D. Exclusive Corporate Functions:

For exclusive use of the Science Discovery Center, venue rental shall be charged in addition to the ticket rate based on group size (Item B).

Duration of Exclusivity/ Venue Rental:

Per Hour venue rent/P20,000

Half Day venue rent (5 hours)/ P90,000

Whole Day venue rent (10 hours)/ P175,000

E. Set-Up/ Food Arrangement:

–>SM SDC allows 2hr advance party (ingress) on the day of the event for a maximum of 10pax.

–> An earlier schedule of ingress shall be subject to Operations Manager’s approval depending on venue’s availability and additonal rental charges.

–> Egress shall be done right after the event.

–> The company may choose to have their food and beverage supplied by our Food Concessionaires inside the SM Mall of Asia.

–> For catering services which client will bring inside SM SDC, a corkage fee of P500/ dish shall be applied or Supervision fee of P10,000 for a full catering set-up, whichever is higher.

–> As of this writing, only Max’s, Fish & Co. and Burgoo are the only accredited restaurant that won’t require surcharge.

–> Electricity for projector or any other electronic device shall be charged P50/ 30 minutes!

F. Payment Terms:

–> A 50% downpayment is required upon confirmation of booking, at least 1 month prior to the event date.

–> Full payment shall be settled 3 days prior to the event date.

–> Cancellation should be done through formal letter at least three-(3) weeks before the event date.

–> For cancelled bookings made less than 10 working days, the 50% downpayment shall be forfeited in favor of SM Science Discovery Center.

–> Payment may be thru cash, check or credit card (Sayang ang miles!)
