I was blog hopping when I saw this article from Mom Exhange, So Cute! Funky Feet!. Ain’t those cutsies? Actually, the girls’ socks are super cute! But then, I can’t let my JX wear those, can I? So, I had to look at the super sneakers and the loafers socks! And they’re still cute! Yes, definitely for JX! AD agreed.

I had to ask these questions before I decided to buy a set for my JX. For me, P450 per box ain’t cheap even for 5 pairs!

1. What is the diameter of the garter without being stretched? I had to ask this because of my experience with AD. Even during his 1st month, socks for 6-12 mos old was too tight for him. He gets this garter marks on his leg. Yes, too much breastmilk (hahaha).

Ans: Socks are 5.5cm when flat and untouched. It will fit most infants until 12 months. my baby is 11months with a foot size of 1.5 year old when we buy shoes and she still wears the flats. depends on the size of your baby

So I measured JX’s ankle…guess what? His ankle measured 5cm already. I was disappointed because I knew it would really look cute on JX (and to all of the babies out there!). The practical side of me tells me, not to buy it anymore as these socks wouldn’t be used after one or two wear but my fashion side tells me, it would be so cute on JX especially now! I guess you knew who won right?

Suggestion: Modify their size from 0-12 months TO 0-6 months and advice fashionista moms that it would also depends on how big your babies ankles are.

2. Can I mix and match the socks per order?

Ans: 1 box comes in assorted colors 1 design only

I thought this would stop me from buying the socks but no, no, no, NO! I bought the 2 sets for boys — super sneakers and loafers. Of course, JX wouldn’t use all of it so the fashion side of me even justified that I can give it as a gift (mixed & matched already) to a friend of ours who is about to give birth to a baby boy this January! Great gift huh!

Suggestion: More designs please AND to allow mix and match of designs per order.

3. Do your socks have the anti-slip marks since it would be wearable by infants 0-12 months old wherein 9-12 mos old babies can already walk?

Ans: Sorry our socks dont have anti slip marks yet.

Suggestion: With the “yet” word, I guess they will now start to work on it. I do hope they have thought of it before since some of the infant socks I see in the department stores are already with those anti-slip marks. Or maybe they saw that this would make the socks more expensive and will not have market for it.

4. What time will you be at the Makati Sports Club? Can I just passby so I do not need to park?

How flexy and convenient huh! You know how parkings are in Makati, not to mention when you are causing traffic. Good thing, I got the socks during the weekend before Christmas where almost everybody were going to the mall or home for the holiday season. They also have other meet up points in Mandaluyong (Shaw Blvd near Wack Wack Country Club) and QC (Acropolis Village, GMA7 Compound, Robinsons Galleria on Tues and Thurs only).

Too bad, there is no size for AD but then, it wouldn’t be THAT cute, ain’t it? =)
