We met up with a couple of new friends…how lovely it was to make new friends and discovering restos we haven’t dined in yet.
This was what we had…

Bowler’s Fish and Chips (P395 +10%sc). Beer-battered, golden brown fish fillet served with house-made coleslaw. Choice of cider vinegar or tartar sauce.
Love this! Totally hot! Jampacked! Looks can be deceiving but I can order this one more time! Whoot! Whoot!

Irish Carbonade (P395 +10%sc). Traditional beef stew in Irish stout, served with roasted vegetables & choice of mashed potatoes or rice pilaf.
Mixed reviews from our table…There were 3 of us who ordered this dish but only 1 liked it. He ordered 1st and got it 1st. R and I got ours at the same time, we didn’t like it. Too bland. R kept on asking for condiments to add flavor and settled for Tabasco. Me? I just ate it even if it was too bland for me…thought it wouldn’t make any difference. And it didn’t! I finished it off (because there are people who don’t have anything to eat out there and then, we are blessed to have such meal and don’t finish it off…) just so I have something in my tummy and my little RA will have something for his midnight snack
It was nice to have met a few more new friends :) They also liked to interact with JX who was with us. It was funny how he was with us now while AD was at home. I think we’ll be taking JX out more often since AD has a mind of his own…It is time for JX’s debut to the world of dining :) He sure was excited! He was quite happy going out with us…being shy at first but warming up after a few minutes…it was just like we are taking out our 1st bornto our adventures once again…Love to hang outwith you, JX! Love you so!

ZubuChon…Lechon…have you tried this? Me neither…so this is my 1st time to eat it!
What can I say?…well, there were parts that were tasty while some was bland. The rosemary herb was very evident and loved the taste of it! Luckily, I was able to eat most of the tastier meat :D It was also lovely to clean off the meat from the bones. But sadly, the skin was not crunchy. We just heated it our our toaster oven. We were in a hurry to taste it but there was an instruction to heat it in the oven for a crunchy skin. Too bad, our help didn’t heed the heating instructions. Anyway, the next time we visit Cebu, will try to eat Zubuchon there and not the pasalubong style.

Happy 1st month to my RA!
Momma bought a small cake to celebrate your 1st month outside my womb but wasn’t able to take your photo with it…we were busy feeding, changing and letting you sleep THEN busy attending to 2hya JX’s needs. We were maid-less today! Emergency leave!
