Wow!! I was shocked when I found out about a fire near where I live. Actually very close to where I live, like 5 miles away. The fire was about 300 acres long. But now I hear it has doubled, not sure though. Last night I was still in SD visiting people, when were on our way home, and got a call that all the power was out. Well yah the power was out for 4 hours I’d say. That night when I got home my Grandpa and I took a walk to our old neighborhood(which is even closer to the fire) and saw police zooming by and blocking off areas of our city. People were all in panic mode and watching the fire burn! Neighborhoods near mine are evacuated, luckily ours hasn’t been evacuated yet. Ill keep this blog updated on the wild fire!

that must be scaary. I hope ur family will be safe. I kinda know what ur goin threw because i have a friend named monica N. and shes goin threw the same thing. I live in sandiego but she lives in sanabarbara. comment back.

Yes it’s a recent event, the wild fire just started a few days ago. It’s possibly a man made fire…
yes my family and I are okay…though our area may get evacuated.
The fire is called: The Gap fire. its in Santa Barbara.
