I can’t decide.. -_-   

I despo-ly need a new phone but can’t figure out which one to waste a lot of money on. T_T

I decided to stop buying intermediate semi-functional phones that I end up not liking and to go for a proper one that I will keep for a long time. (that is, if I don’t lose it -_- ) 

Butttttttttttttttttttttt I just can’t decide. The idea of being able to dl apps for the iPhone and with non-apple people constantly churning out new apps really appeals to me. But on the other hand, I don’t like the touch screen, especially since you can’t get at it with a stylus and MUST touch it with your finger. HELLO how about those of us with nails?

on the other hand the BB has a qwerty which appeals to me (i’m not gonna bother with the touchscreen BB) and I like the idea of BBM. But then it feels like once I buy the BB, that’ all I’m stuck with. No more interesting funny apps will keep popping out that I can download and kill time / amoose myself with.

Duh…. T_T

maybe I should buy a BB and an iPod Touch. That way I get the best and worst of both worlds.

don’t suggest iPad please… to me that’s like a glorified digital photo frame with internet connection.

I’ve been spending the past week cramming the few spare moments I have following the winter olympics. 

 know absolutely nothing about sports like luge, snowboarding, skiing, skating etc. so I guess the only really lasting moments from the Olympics for me are :

김연아 aka KIM YUNA who took out the Women’s Skating gold medal.

Her effortless twirls just made skating seem so easy ! She smashed both the SP and LP world records. I do think, though, that (Yuna fans don’t kill me) she was overmarked on the LP in comparison to Mao Asada. I really do. Although to me she deserved the gold medal.  And she’s so pretty….

The Norweigan Curling Team’s Pants.

I know. I’m weird. BUT… 594,681 Facebook Fans are equally as weird as me! muahaha.. Yes, the pants have their own facebook fan page. I was watching the curling finals between Norway and Canada, and really, there wasn’t very much of a fight. But the pants made a very lasting impression. I told my sister they resemble a deck of cards (channels Alice in Wonderland-ish card minions of the Queen of Hearts to me). And the skip of the Norway team is kind of cute in an older-guy kinda way. alalalala…. ;P

 SPOF (speakingof) alice in wonderland, it’s being released here on Thursday ^_^ I can’t wait to watch it, although I have been reading the synopsis and  it doesn’t follow the storyline of Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass.

 Sigh T_T 

 And I so wanted to see a humanised version of the walrus and the carpenter….

新年来了！ Unfortunately being stuck here in a different country, there isn’t really a New Year feel to CNY. I misssss the great food and the fire-crackers (Shh) and meeting up with all my rellys and being able to run around with friends.

So we had a pretty unorthodox NY dinner - a buffet at Fortuna (Sky City) restaurant ^_^

I wasn’t very hungry as we went to the CNY celebration earlier and I bought lots of finger food to pick at (BAK GUA / BAK PO ! :D) so I mostly picked at the fresh Oysters served with lemon slices and rock salt.. mm…

The potato and green onion soup was pretty tasty…

 Finally some cooked food - noodles, beef and veges.. (not very nice)

Dessert! =D panna cotta, jelly, almond cake and lychee tartlet.  the almond cake was actually really yummy…

I wasn’t feeling like going out the next day,  so I made dinner instead ~

Salad leaves topped with chopped cucumber, tomatoes and celery drizzled with thai dressing, kimchi, fragrant Jasmine rice and chicken baked with char siu sauce, honey and black pepper! =)  It’s a strange combination but is really yummy… And there’s lots of veges in there.. see?

I don’t really love love McD’s but I don’t mind its hotcakes and I’ll eat it if I’m forced to ;) 

 However, I don’t think we’ll be going back to this particular McD’s anymore..

Contrary to the HOT in hotcakes, these came out  not very hot. And the butter.. well the butter…

 I thought it was from the (non-existent) ‘heat’ of my hotcakes so I stole someone else’s butter from a different meal but it was exactly the same. blech…

As for the big breakfast…

have you seen a more miserable sausage? emm like really? it looks it’s been through a time machine. Wizened and dry…

For the record, the hash brown was hot and crispy, although dripping with oil and grease

But seriously, this has really put me off McD’s for a while now, and I was never a fan anyway.  Definitely never going back to this one. Not even if they offered me free food.. 

okay maybe if it’s free and it looks really nice (sucker for free food okay… )
