My friends are getting annoyed. I haven’t posted in my forum in a few days. They’re telling me to stop blogging and playing games, and to get in there and post. Buuuut… I don’t feel like writing. It stinks. I don’t like that they are upset with me, but I really don’t want to force it, or my posts will end up really bad. *Siiiiigh.* Oh well, at least that’s my biggest dilemma of the day, haha.

I stumbled on this comic, Lackadaisy, and read the archives in one sitting. It’s based during the prohibition and the cast is cats. The main character, Rocky, is a violin player and moonlights as a gin and whiskey runner for an underground bar. He is a super upbeat character, even in the tightest situations. He is, however, incompetent in mostly everything except the violin, which doesn’t help when people are shooting at him. The comic is done in a sepia tone, and is very nicely drawn. The humor is great, and the characters well thought out. I’m not sure what the update schedule is. I’d recommend this comic as a good read.

Ooh. And to anyone who doesn’t know what prohibition is, it was a period of time where the US government outlawed alcohol. Of course, this just drove everything to the black market.

It was freight day, and we had to put away merchandise, so it was fairly easy to keep busy. I was also on the register all day. We had a store meeting at the end of the day, so I got paid to sit for an hour and a half, eat pizza, and listen to the store manager talk. Not too bad of a deal.

Hum. I’m tired today. I have the day off tomorrow, so I can sleep in the morning at least. Maybe I’ll go to sleep in the morning.

I think I’m going to bake a cake tomorrow. I haven’t done any baking lately.

I’ll write that webcomic review tomorrow, which is my next day off. If anyone is reading, and wants me to review a certain comic, just drop me a comment and a link, and I’ll read it.

So anyways, I have the day off from work today, so my plans are pretty much housework, shopping, and if I have anytime left, I’m just going to loaf around the house. I personally like that plan.

Hum. I’m really hungry right now, but I am feeling much to lazy to get up and fix myself something to eat. I’ll get it later.

I have to post some more in the RP forum I made today. There aren’t a lot of people in it and I’m in almost every thread, so when I neglect it, my friends get mad at me. I have to post in about every thread I’m in too. Ah well, I’ll get around to doing it later as well. I’m such a procrastinator, haha.

The weather out here is kind of icky today. It’s cloudy, windy, cold and drizzling. Yuck.I don’t like the rain very much, but I can deal with it when it’s not cold. I can deal with the cold when it’s not raining, but I really can’t stand the two together.

I’m still looking for people to RP with. I’m always looking for someone to RP with.

Let’s start out with the basics. I’m 21. Yeah, I know, a little old to be on a site like this, but what can I say? I guess I’m still a kid at heart. I’m taking computer classes at a local college while working full time as a cashier at a local hardware store. I live in a small town in northern California. Have all my life. Hopefully I’ll move out of here soon; this town is dull. But at the same time, I am a little afraid to move away.

I like to read, RP, write, and mess around on my computer. I read mostly fantasy and Sci-fi, but when it comes down to it, I’ll read anything that seems interesting to me. I’m not much on fanfics however. Those things can be downright disturbing at times, so I tend to shy away from those. I haven’t written anything in some time, maybe I’ll get back into it soon. I’ve been having troubles getting into the groove.

I’m generally a pretty nice person, and pretty laid back, but I know I can be real mean sometimes. But, I guess that’s pretty typical of most people. Usually, I’m a little shy at first, but I’ll open up and become a hyper basket-case around my friends.

I like to travel, but I hardly ever do. Mostly because I have little money or time. I just took a week long trip to London in December, however. It was a blast. My friend and I went together. I had to save up for a good portion of a year before I had enough, but it was definitely worth every penny. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I game, but I’m no hardcore gamer. I don’t have the money for it. Games are waaaay to expensive! If I was rich, I would sit at home and play video games and surf the web all day. I’d probably weigh a ton too, so I guess that’s an upside to being broke.

What else, what else? I like the watch animes… The last series I watched was Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. That was the strangest, creepiest show ever. And bloody too! Sheesh. But… I did like it, so what does that say about me? I must have issues or something. Whatever. I’ll deal with it. I’m heading over to Fanime again this year. Maybe if someone is actually reading this and heading that way, we can say hello.

Hum. Not much more I can think of to write today. I had a long day at work, and I’m tired. Probably not the best condition to be a conduit for creativity. And this did turn out to be a strange, rambling introduction didn’t it? Not sure if anyone will end up reading it, but we’ll see.
