As there is no DDL (Direct Download Link) for the Hello Kitty Online Game Client released by gloot.net, I decided to upload the game client to a famous file-hosting site: Megaupload. [Update: there is one now] Please stay tuned for the download link. It will take another 17 more hours or so before all 5 parts could be fully uploaded. [Update: all parts are uploaded now]

You might ask why 5 parts? Megaupload has a policy to restrict non-paying users from downloading large files. Therefore, I split the zip file into 5 parts to allow everyone to download.

This Hello Kitty Online SEA game client was originally downloaded directly from the torrent supplied by gloot.net and was entirely uploaded without changes to Megaupload. I installed the same game client on my computer and my gf’s and no viruses nor trojans were found. We were enjoying the game! However as a warning, download these files at your own risk.

Instruction:

1. IMPORTANT: If you are a non-paying user, you could only download 1 file at a time from Megaupload.
2. Click on the links below to go to the Megaupload download page.
3. Key in the correct Captcha code (example below) before you click download.
4. Save all 5 parts in one same folder.
5. After finishing the download, go to the folder and double click on any of the 5 files* to extract the Game Client.
6. Voila! There you have it, your copy of HKO SEA game client installer in your hard disk! Double click on setup.exe to install the game!
7. See you in Sanrioland!

*You must have a file archiver program to extract the game client. If you don’t have, use the one recommended by gloot.net: PeaZip.

Phew, after 74 hours or so of downloading via utorrent, here I am at about 1am, 26th June, logging into Hello Kitty Online for the 1st time. Then I started to walk around Sanrio Harbour Bay, the first place everybody will get to. Strangely, there was no other player around! By the time I logged out of the game, I thought HKO was like another Adobe Flash game namely: Pet Society where you won’t get to interact with anyone when you play. Haha, how wrong am I. But frankly, I have never seen an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where there was no other player around on the first map!

The next day, I was invited to a guild by a nice gal. The guild is Kittens and the nice gal is Cyndle. They made me feel at home in this guild. Thanks for this nice experience guys! And I have got to say this, we have got a nice GM in this game. He is GM_Kitolo. After reading about my difficulty in downloading the game, he came in to my farm and personally greet me (See pictures below). How sweet! But I was kinda spooked out at first, as i didn’t know

1. GM could just walk into my farm without my permission
2. GM can be invisible to us
3. “self_visible 1″ is the command he used to make himself visible
