My dad hasn’t paid the phone bill this month so I can’t call my boyfriend! Kind of frustrating.
I don’t have enough Kitty Points yet, but I’m thinking of getting the discount preorder for Big City Dreams. Anyone else doing that? I wanna know if it’s worth getting. Is it supposed to be a good one?
I just got a new egg on Dragon Cave:

Clicking the egg will take you to their website if you’re interested. When it gets viewed a lot it’ll hatch.
Aaaaand to finish off this random post here’s random Cinnamoroll.

I drew him wrong, but I was just trying to be silly anyways.

I haven’t gotten around to new monster designs yet so here’s something that’s about six months old, but still one of my best works, I think.

Whoops, I forgot to resize this guy so this picture you see was shrunk down on the blog editor. It’s a little distorted, you can click for full size.

I need to draw the other fruit monsters soon! I keep putting it off even though I’ve had the designs in mind for like, a month and a half.
For now meet Al.

Aloysius (Al-oh-is-shuss) is an Allosaurus. I’m sure there are plenty of subtle physiological differences between Allosaurus and Tyrannosaurus but all I bother remembering is that Al has 3 fingers and T-rexes have 2.
I’m half tempted to draw a Dromiceiomimus and a Utahraptor and have them talk about time travel.

Hmmm, okay, it looks kind of thick for a weasel. Does it look like a banana at least?

There’s a few more fruit animal designs that I haven’t gotten around to drawing, actually…

The leader of the ghosts, the Ghost Mother is a ‘mother’ in the same way a little girl is the ‘mommy’ of her dolls and plushies. They are her loving playthings. Hmmm, what’s that bandage on her forehead hiding? Maybe it’s a hint as to how she became this way.
The Ghost Mother’s real name is Judith.

The only truly monstrous monster thus far…

What’s cool about the ghost snake is that it’s slightly transparent, and it looks different on different backgrounds. All of my ghost designs are kind of transparent but this is the only one with a secret…

WHAM! Vertebrae! I was gonna make it extend all the way down the tail but that was just too much work. It’s actually kind of disappointing that it doesn’t show up on a white background… The first picture is transparent, backgroundless, so you could put it on other kinds of backgrounds to see the effect.

This ghost mushroom is one of my favorites, he turned out pretty well. The glowing spots are really bright, and I managed to make him look NOT like a Toad from Mario Bros. I liked him enough to try drawing him in Illustrator:

I’m not so great with Illustrator but it’s cute in its own way. This version of Goshroom looks like he’s got a strawberry on his head though.

It looks a lot like a butterfly, but I call it an angel. Its halo leaves a ghostly trail…kind of looks like a weird hat actually. I guess to become an angel ghost you gotta be a good person, but maybe still have unfinished business on Earth? I don’t know. It’s not very monstery, but I like the simple design.

This is a very simple design, but the subtle color changes took as much time to do as anything. It’s fun to see how many ways you can personify a circle. I’ve been told it looks like the ghost of a fish because of the ways the aura is shaped, but that’s a coincidence.
