First off let me start by saying:

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

I hope everyone had a good holiday! Unfortunately I have bronchitis and have been stuck at home for the past 2 days. I missed the Halloween party I planned for my students and I only had one trick-or-treator. But I do love Halloween and have been super excited about all the HKO events!!!

I completed Monster Wrangler on Thursday and received the Liberty Key. How exciting was it to see Keroleen?

How exciting is this?? Kitty sure knows how to decorate! And she said she thought everyone forgot her birthday!

I finished the cake and delievered it to the party. The party room looked awesome! I was a bit nervous about baking the cake. Someone on the forums posted that you had to be cooking level 15. I’m just a mere 7 and was dreading the 8 levels I would need to gain. Luckily it was a typo.

I also found it completely hilarious that Thomas had broken his ankle, was screaming for help for hours…but once you find him all he wants you to do is bake a cake. Is everyone scared of Hello Kitty? Would her cake dissappointment be worse than bodily harm? I sure hope he went to Sanrio Land Hospital after the cake was finished!

I’m looking forward to the guild events that are coming up. I’m curious though, if you build the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building on your farm, does this mean you can’t build a house? Will the monuments last forever?

The Unicef charity event makes me so happy! I think it’s awesome that Sanrio will donate real life money based on our in game play. I wish all the guilds good luck!!!!!

A few days ago I ventured out of Londan and found myself in Paris. I love the city they have made in HKO and I especially love that I can go there and rarely meet anyone else. Figuring that will be changing soon I decided to take a tour and enjoy having a city to myself. ^__^

 First up, a scenic look out at the Seine.

I see that Bagle and Scone are waiting for me in Paris. No doubt they will have tons of chores for me to do! I think it would be best if I avoid them on my tour.

I popped into the Moulin Rouge only to be unexpectantly brought on stage by My Melody!!!

Luckily, It wasn’t hard to pick up her moves.

I still had a desire to perform so I went to L’Opera. I enacted a scene from the infamous French play “El Fromage.”

Needless to say, it would have gone better had I remembered to remove my face mask! I will have to remember that for next time. ^__^

Well, the weekend is here and that means more time to devote to Sanrio Land. Today marked my second day of playing…and I really mean a day…the whole day. This morning I started out at Level 5 and now I’m really close to Level 13. ^__^

 Here I am. I posed in the cute pants, but then ran about in the super ugly hunter’s pants all day. A very nice player named Kat gave them to me before I had started on any of the hunting quests. They were a big help.

I am also in love with Purin’s Boat. It is adorable.

I finished all the Sanrio Harbor quests and moved on to Floropolis where I immediately developed a dislike for boars, spiders and bees! Currently I’m hunting down 40 rat tails. (Seriously Latte? 40??? What are you going to do with them, dress everyone as kids from the 80’s for Halloween?) I’m working on the Tangerine juice for the New York event. I really hope I’m able to finish this first one. And then I have to dig Purin out of a tree or something. Should be fun. HA!

I hate this guy!

So I’ve been accepted and am officially a HKO Founder Beta. After trying every different way to download this game it finally worked. Thanks very much to my friend Jaime who talked me through it! I finally got it up and running, but am now having trouble connecting to their server. I hope it’s not just me!

I’m still not able to play the game. I sent the required email, but received word it would be a “couple of weeks”  before I heard anything. Then I did the unthinkable. I signed up for the ridiculous  File Planet offer. I really hate signing up for things and subjecting myself to junk mail; however, the promise a 24 hour turn around time was worth it. Sadly, my 24 hours have come and gone and still no log in info.

 There is the possibility that I screwed up the File Planet deal. It told me to download something that I thought was in my best interest to avoid. I honestly don’t see how it could have helped me get into the game. Also, I might have done the email wrong. If I haven’t heard anything by tomorrow I’ll try again. But seriously, three emails might start to look a little desperate.

 On the sunnier side, I bought a Panda Apple stamp set today.

I hope my students enjoy it. And if not then it is totally coming home with me. I think they’re adorable!!!

Well, here I am. I have sent an email to join Hello Kitty Online and will hopefully be playing soon. I thought I had gotten past internet games, but this one looks so cute. Hello Kitty dragged me back in.
