Now these, I definitely adore! I wonder how much these would cost though! These shoes will be available in Lane Crawford, along with special collections from American Apparel, Havaianas, Linda Farrow, Les Bijoux de Sophie and Belgian milliner Christophe Coppens.

No kidding! Hello Kitty’s official pink, blue and yellow tartan has been recognized by the Scottish Register of Tartans. And will be put to show in this collection of handbags and other accessories!

Meanwhile, Hello Kitty’s sporty fans/sneaker fanatics are going to go gaga for these limited edition Asics sneakers.

Among the special capsule collections of Hello Kitty-themed merchandise at Hong Kong-based retailer Lane Crawford are sunglasses from Linda Farrow!

This does not come as a surprise given that in the WWD article, it was mentioned that “In recent years, Hello Kitty’s reach has extended beyond young girls to stylish women, who shop the brand both for themselves and their daughters. Hello Kitty’s fashion quotient has increased through a bevy of collaborations with firms such as Christian Dior, Heatherette, Anna Sui and A Bathing Ape. Her celebrity following includes Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.”

This just goes to show Hello Kitty’s fan base has really expanded, crossing generations! I won’t be surprised if one day, my daughter Berry will be so into Hello Kitty too!

In an interview with WWD, Janet Hsu, the Los Angeles-based president of Sanrio global consumer products, said that Hello Kitty products rake in worldwide sales of more than $5 billion annually. “A huge percentage of that is in the fashion category,” she explained, adding the brand is seeing “tremendous strength” in fine jewelry.

That being the case, Lane Crawford tapped Les Bijoux de Sophie to create these necklaces for Hello Kitty’s Anniversary! You like?

I know I mentioned about Sanrio’s exciting collabs in celebration of Hello Kitty’s 35th and here’s another fun one! Hello Kitty and Tokidoki!

Gone are the days when a Hello Kitty watch, pencil case or lunchbox is enough to get a little girl happy! 35 years sure have passed since that time. Because now, Hello Kitty has not only become very computer savvy with those Mimobot flashdrives, but has gotten more sophisticated!  This Hello Kitty x Tokidoki collection is just a taste of it! You’ll see why in my next couple of posts for next week!

Hello Kitty’s turning 35 this November 1 so in celebration, Sanrio partnered with Mimoco, creator of the MIMOBOT. (Among several more exciting collaborations I will be posting about!)

The collaboration with Mimoco will begin with Hello Kitty…

…and will eventually expand to Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, Chococat, and TuxedoSam in MIMOBOT form. The Sanrio flash drives will also be bundled with the mimoDesk personalization suite of Sanrio-themed wallpapers, screensavers, icons, and avatars, as well as videos and other digital surprises.

I love restaurant tableware, but I wouldn’t go to the extreme of stealing them off the table! So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these at Bed, Bath & Beyond…

These are normally used to hold cream or maple syrup, but I bought three for fish sauce (patis), vinegar and soy sauce!

Cool idea huh?!
