Tuesday, July 14th, 2009Comfy Sheets!
Monday, July 13th, 2009I’ve always had a thing for comfy beds, and of course comfy sheets that I can sink into sweet slumber in. Dear Hubby and I usually buy cotton sheets with a 400 thread count, at least. But I’ve always suspected that these 100% Cotton Jersey Sheet Sets (which cost a mere $19.99) would be so comfortable to sleep into as well…
Because aren’t jersey cotton shirts so comfortable to wear? Just imagine sleeping on a whole sheet of jersey cotton! All the more when it gets worn, as with a holey old tee!
There’s a variety of colors to choose from like pink, brown and black, but I really would love this in a frosty white or organic-y cream…

But since my color preferences are nowhere to be found, here’s my pick! A paisley sheet set in pink! So cute and comfy!

Friday, July 10th, 2009Manhattan Skyline
Thursday, July 9th, 2009I just thought I’d share with you a photo taken by Dear Hubby of the Manhattan skyline as seen from our place!
Dear Hubby is a frustrated photographer but there’s nothing frustrating about his photos right? Haha! I think he’s very talented and I know one day he will be able to do make a living out of his passion for photography!
As they say, people go to New York to make their big city dreams come true! And this is where he discovered his eye for capturing poignant photos! Soon his dreams will become reality!
Popcorn, Indiana…Really!
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009Goodness, gracious! I was craving for Kettle Corn (you know, me and my “healthy” snacks…) and I saw this in the “healthy snacks section” of our neighborhood grocery…
It was yummy!!! I finished the bag in 3 days!!! And I just found it amusing that it was made in Popcorn, Indiana! Yep, there is such a place! See?
Benjamin Steakhouse’s Hot Fudge Sundae
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009Of course we had steak at Benjamin Steakhouse, but even thought the chefs come from Peter Luger, I still have a strong affection for the original. Even Benjamin’s hot fudge sundae…
…sadly was a poor copy of THE ORIGINAL topped with Peter Luger’s famous schlag! But! Hey, a hot fudge sundae is still a hot fudge sundae and I looovvveee fudge, heehee!
