Monday, July 27th, 2009Remember this post?
Well, it seems big girls (yes, that means us!) can now join in on the fun! Check out these shoe socks I found in Target!
They look like you’re wearing funky old school sneakers at first glance. If you think this is cool, there’s more to come! ![]()

Saturday, July 25th, 2009Grimaldi’s Pizzeria
Thursday, July 23rd, 2009My sister and her hubby and in-laws stood in line for 2 hours at Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn for this:
Grimaldi’s is an institution when it comes to pizza, boasting of thin crust pizza with fresh mozarella baked in a coal-fired brick oven to give it a smoky taste and crisp crust. Tourists and locals come to Grimaldi’s for the experience alone.
Admittedly, the pizza is good. But with a Brooklyn style pizza place near our apartment, which we can get in 20 minutes tops, why wait 2 hours for this? It’s not worth it apparently! As my sister said, Fuhgedaboutit!
Goody Goody Gum Balls!
Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009Check out this huge gum ball stand at Modell’s, a sporting goods store near our place! It’s almost as tall as I am!
Each gum ball costs 25 cents, that’s about Php 12.50 a piece in Philippine currency! Quite expensivo huh?
The colors look so attractive and tempting though! If I were a kid, I might just ask my mom or dad for a quarter just to see the gum ball drop into my grubby little hands, hahaha!
Hello Kitty Wrap
Tuesday, July 21st, 2009Another Hello Kitty find at TJ Maxx! A Hello Kitty Wrap!
A girl can wear this after a bath, while putting on make-up or just for lounging about the house I suppose! I love this ribbon detail on the shoulder…
Here’s Hello Kitty up close!
I actually saw a lady go into the fitting rooms to try this on and I thought it was sooo cute! So I went to the sleepwear section just to take a photo for you!
Sponge Bob Golf Balls?!
Monday, July 20th, 2009I’d like to think I have an eye for all things cute and fun!
See, I went to to the golf section of Target with my dad, who is an avid golfer…
And he spent quite some time looking at the golf balls, comparing prices, recalling how much golf balls are back home, etc.
While he was caught up with his golf balls shopping, guess what I spotted! Sponge Bob golf balls!
Ain’t these adorable?
I wouldn’t want to use these though! I would feel bad if they just fall into the water, or get lost in the woods!
