Hello Kitty Bath Time V: Liquid Soap/Body Wash/Shampoo/Lotion Dispenser

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Here’s a versatile dispenser that can work for your shampoo, liquid soap (but what for when there’s that cute soap dish!), body wash or lotion! You can actually chuck those plastic bottles of toiletries and empty the contents out into these…

…for that Hello Kitty bath room experience! Question is, how can you tell which one contains which? Hmmm….

Hello Kitty Bath Time IV: Soap Dish

Now isn’t this the cutest soap dish ever?

It’s actually a shame to cover Hello Kitty’s face with a bar of soap! So cute!!!

Hello Kitty Bath Time III: Towels

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Because we want to keep the toilet dry and clean, and our faces, hands and bodies dried, buffed and polished, we need towels of course!

Hello Kitty comes to our rescue with pretty towels that have cute little designs on it. Nope, these are not your regular terry cloth towels!

These aren’t made with the finest Egyptian cotton, but then again, if you’re a kid, sometimes, it’s the cuteness that matters right?

Hello Kitty Bath Time II: Bath Rug

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

What do you need to step on when you’re dripping wet from the shower? Well, a bath rug of course! And a pretty one at that, check this out…

Cute huh? And it just goes so well with the shower curtain and hooks too! Heehee!

Hello Kitty Bath Time I: Shower Curtain & Hooks

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Have you ever seen a Hello Kitty themed bath room? I haven’t, not even in photos. But if you go to Target and check out the bath section, you wouldn’t even need much of an imagination to deck out a bath room Hello Kitty style because they have anything and everything to make a Hello Kitty bath room come to life!

For starters, and the most important I would think, is the shower curtain! After all, isn’t this the biggest part of the bath room?

It even has matching shower curtain hooks to go with it!

If that’s not enough, check out this blog for more to come! ;-)

Theme Park Food!

Saturday, May 9th, 2009

Ok, so we didn’t get to ride the rides. It’s not that we didn’t know that. I pretty much knew I wouldn’t get to do that since I’m 33 weeks pregnant. Dear Hubby wasn’t in the mood either since it was drizzling. So what did we do?

Eat instead! Yeah! Because isn’t theme park food delicious for some reason?

This is Dear Hubby’s pick!

Here’s the corn dog swathed in mustard and ketchup…

All I had was a caramel sundae =)

We actually didn’t eat that much too because we were saving our tummies for Italian food! Xsa reserved seats for us in this hole in the wall Italian resto that she swears by! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to take photos! Dinner was so good we practically inhaled it! Hahaha!

Hersheypark

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Apart from getting out of town and visiting our friend Xsa in Hershey, this is also one of the reasons why we went to Hershey. Hersheypark! Because isn’t a visit to a theme park a great way to welcome warm and sunny days? Hersheypark features over 60 rides which guarantees fun for the entire family!

Unfortunately, it was drizzling the whole time we were there! Boohoo! But that didn’t stop us from riding the covered rides, and those that are safe for pregnant women like me! Heehee! So actually, that just meant riding the monorail that brought us around the theme park, and the tiny steam train!

The Sweetest Bears! + The Biggest Hershey’s Bar Ever!

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Aren’t these chocolate toting bears adorable? You get a pack of Kissables and a brightly colored bear to keep as memory of such a sweet treat!

Photobucket

If you think that’s sweet, nothing can be sweeter than these humongous Hershey’s chocolate bars!

Photobucket

Even one bar can transport you to a sugar high!

Photobucket

To give you an idea of how big a 5lb bar of chocolate is, here is my friend Me-an with her 2 year old son, Dominic!

Photobucket

Whoah! Huge right? Would you pay this much for a bar of chocolate?

Hershey’s Chocolate World

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Our first stop in the town of Hershey, well, apart from our hotel, The Hershey Lodge, was Chocolate World!

We went on an indoor tour of the Factory Experience, a cute way of showing us how chocolate is made. After which, we had lunch at the food court. Check out how nice it is!

It even has an indoor tropical “garden” inside!

Photobucket

Chocolate World, by the way, is THE place to stock up on chocolate, because they have all sorts of chocolate and chocolate themed souvenirs for chocolate lovers of all ages!

Did we buy any chocolates? Honestly, we didn’t. The town and people of Hershey are so sweet, we got free chocolates all the time! They gave us bars of chocolates when we checked into our hotel. We got mini chocolate bars after the Factory Experience ride, we also got chocolates all throughout our Trolley Tour!

Photobucket

So yeah, in as much as I love chocolate, I got sick of it right away. Especially when we would get free chocolates every 30 minutes or so! My friend Xsa, who is a doctor at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center tells us that the incidence of diabetes and obesity in this town is so high! Why am I not surprised? Hahaha!

Hershey’s Chocolate Factory!

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Last weekend, we went on a roadtrip to Hersey, PA to visit “The Sweetest Place on Earth”. Why the sweetest? Well because it’s home to Hershey’s Chocolates, and the biggest chocolate factory in the world!!!

Photobucket

Check out their chocolate silos/tanks which store 8 months worth of chocolates for production! Considering that they produce millions of chocolates each day, this means there’s chocolate here enough for billions of Kisses, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Kit-Kats, and Hershey’s chocolate bars!

Photobucket

The town of Hershey was built by Milton S. Hershey, the founder of Hershey’s Chocolates. He envisioned it as the perfect town for his employees to live, work and play. The town is so perfect, they have their own amusement park and outlet mall! Of course, apart from tree-lined residential areas with clean, well-kept homes, sprawling schools, community centers, hotels and small businesses that support the needs of the community and its tourists.

Watch out for more of my posts on Hershey, PA this week! You’ll enjoy it for sure! Even if you don’t like chocolate that much! Heehee!
