Hello Kitty Live!!!

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Well fine, this is not the REAL Hello Kitty but my sister-in-law thought it would make a cute grad pic creative pose! We burst out laughing with this test shot!

But my hubby said it looked scary and reminded him of Sadako! Hahaha! So she ended up with a toned down version of Hello Kitty with gray contact lenses and smoky eye shadow!

Can’t wait to see the actual grad pic! Let’s see if Hello Kitty is given justice! Hahaha!

Meet the Schu Designers!

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

Schu may have its roots in Singapore, but footwear from Schu will always be neck and neck with the latest in Europe simply because it’s designed in Italy and France! Yes, the hotbeds of fashion and accessories!

I bought my first Schu in Singapore, back when it wasn’t available in Manila, and it was love at first sight. I was on the hunt for delicate flip flops and what do I see but a beaded turquoise beauty with a slim shape and a metallic footbed that I just had to have it! I wore it to death, until the beads fell off and the strap broke but I just can’t bear to part with it. It still holds a special place in my closet and while I have had other Schus of the same delicate nature, I will always keep my first Schu! Now that’s proof of great design!!!

See by Chloe Totes

Remember the ubiquitous Chloe Paddington satchel of 2005? Well, for those who could never afford a Chloe bag and can only look back with longing at the year of the Chloe Paddington and still can’t get over what never was, here’s something from See by Chloe, the “bridge” line…

Colorful and eye-catching, it sure can give any boring outfit a pop of color! Plus, it’s from Chloe! Best of all, it’s available at for $94.50. Not bad at all!
