The Reusable Target Bag

This came together with the May 2008 issue of my Vanity Fair subscription…

I really wasn’t too excited about opening it, after all, I’ve learned not to expect much from magazine freebies. So I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and saw this…

What a pretty shopping tote! Looks exactly like my Baggus, but with a nice graphic print! Looks very sturdy too! Thank you Target and Vanity Fair! :D

it looks like a dress, somewhat. :D

That’s a really nice looking bag. If stores design tote bags like that, people will really be encouraged to use it instead of asking for a plastic bag every time they shop.

This is definitely prettier than one of those “I’m not a plastic bag” bags.

I think it’s the graphic print that makes it look special, and not like it’s a freebie at all! Apparently, Target is running a campaign wherein, if you send them back old Target plastic bags, they will send you this tote for free! I think it’s a great initiative that more stores should look into!

That’s a VERY good idea, indeed. I personally don’t like the idea of buying them (SM sells them for a hundred bucks I think). They should be pushing these “eco” bags as aggressively as they can if they really care for the environment.
