Hello Kitty Sunnies
Friday, March 28th, 2008Hello Kitty Party Prize
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008What’s a kiddie party without parlor games? I remember when I was little, winning in parlor games was a major deal for me. Because I wanted to bring home a prize, apart from the goodie bags heeheehee!
Here’s a fun and practical prize for the girl who gets the last “musical chair”, can pin the tail on the donkey, freeze like a statue the longest, or whistle while eating polvoron!

Monday, March 24th, 2008Hello Kitty Party Centerpiece
Friday, March 21st, 2008Now here’s a cute Hello Kitty honeycomb style centerpiece for party tables! Measuring 9.5″ it’s a decent size to prop in the middle of the table. We wouldn’t want the centerpiece to be so big you’ll end up talking to Hello Kitty all throughout the party right?
I can just imagine surrounding this with little plastic eggs where you can put a cute Hello Kitty trinket inside as decoration/party favor! Of course, little bouquets of flowers would be nice too! And maybe have little bowls of candies placed strategically around the centerpiece for the kids to enjoy. Hmmm, I doubt though if parents would like their kids to have easy access to candy! But hey! That’s a dream party for any kid right? Heehee!
Hello Kitty Party Streamers
Thursday, March 20th, 2008Hello Kitty Party!
Wednesday, March 19th, 2008Our friends Mary Anne and Eric planned for a big party for their son Dominic’s first birthday! It was a real production number so Dear Hubby and I volunteered to help out with the preparations.
Sunday morning, we went to Party City to pick up the balloons and some last minute stuff. While strolling through the aisles, I saw a whole section of Hello Kitty party items! Wow! I just felt like throwing a Hello Kitty party for the heck of it! Hahaha!
So for the next couple of days, I’ll be posting Hello Kitty party goodies for you to enjoy!
I’ll start with the birthday candle!
Now if I were the birthday celebrant, I’d make sure I would blow out the candle really fast to keep Hello Kitty from melting!
Red Mango
Tuesday, March 18th, 2008When Mrs. Awesome Planet told me about Red Mango, I was kind of sad because I thought they only had stores in the West Coast. So I researched and to my happiness, they had stores in New York City!!! Woohoo! So last Saturday, I told dear Hubby we just had to visit it so I can try the “original” frozen yogurt!
And I wasn’t disappointed, it was truly tart & yogurt-y but with a tinge of creaminess to it! Yummy!
Apart from being made from real yogurt (with all the live and active cultures, which is supposedly not found in Pinkberry frozen yogurt), they also claim to have less calories (20 calories to an ounce vs. Pinkberry’s 25 calories to an ounce).
Ah, let the frozen yogurt wars begin!
Daisy Marc Jacobs
Monday, March 17th, 2008Look at what we received from our generous and fabulous friend Cathy this weekend!
This fragrance sampler is especially cute!!! I super love the packaging!
According to nowsmellthis Marc Jacobs Daisy “starts with fruit (wild strawberry, red grapefruit), neither heavy nor overly sweet, tempered by a touch of greenery (violet leaves). The floral notes in the heart (gardenia, violet, jasmine) are well-blended and sheer… The base (musk, vanilla and white woods) is pale and clean and middling warm, and only lightly vanillic.”
This scent was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas who has made scents for Bvlgari, Cartier, Chopard, Calvin Klein, Armani and Lanvin among a host of luxury labels!
But unlike the brands I’ve mentioned, this scent is very fresh and youthful! Just as the packaging suggests, it makes you think of running through wide fields of green and sunflowers on a sunny summer day!
While the target market are 18-24 year olds, I wouldn’t mind using it! I can’t help but smile as I dab on the scent! It just makes me think happy thoughts! It also helps that it smells so fresh and clean! I love it!
