Looks like the new closed beta is open, and without actually playing it yet, there are already good and bad things.

Good: It’s open.  From what I’ve heard, it’s been greatly expanded, with two new cities, new sound effects, and more stuff overall.

Bad: It’s being hosted by Aeria Games, who I’m not very impressed with, having played two of their games in the past (DOMO and Megaten).  Both of these games turned essential game functions (such as equipment repair) into cash cows.  This also means that all the stuff that the original HKO staff told us would carry over from the old game, won’t.   We’ll all be starting completely from scratch.   All that effort for nothing. This also means that the GMs that we all knew and loved most likely won’t be around.  We’ll be dealing with Aeria GMs.

Oh well.  I guess we'll see how it goes once I'm able to get online and actually play the new version.

And finally, it’s all over, and the servers are disconnected yet again.  Now we have to wait until next year for the Open Beta.

A bunch of Sailoria guildies on Gingerbreadgirl’s farm, getting ready to contribute to the Food for Friends event.  That was a crazy rush, and even long after it was over, no one wanted to ever hear the words “lemon pie” again.

So, after hearing about the Hello Kitty Online MMORPG through deadrose, who played in the Closed Beta, I had to get in on the silliness.
