So. Yesterday was the official end of the Founders’ Beta. I must admit it was a rather fun experience despite the occasional drama here and there.
MOST of the community that I’ve come into contact with were rather nice individuals, which is a wonderful thing considering that many of the MMORPGs out there don’t have as many nice people, or as I’ve encountered anyways. :3
The Food Drive event was a wonderful idea, as although my guild did not win, the statistics showed we managed to raise almost $300 for the cause. However, the unsightly competition at times between guilds and sometimes even within guilds was rather disturbing. :/

I agree with you about the “nice-ness” of most HKO players. That’s one of the reasons that made it so much fun! I will definitely be looking forward to OB… although, it seems like the devs have something up their sleeves as they’ve all asked us to keep our clients: “HOWEVER… we will be having SOMETHING before Open Beta so it’d be awesome if you guys KEEP THE CLIENT!”

Hopefully! :3 Then we can have one last Founders’ only gathering before the servers get overrun by new people, which I hope will be as nice as the bunch in this Founders’ Beta. ^^
